Cowboys should have traded Ezekiel Elliott last year

Zekes first couple of years was great and then he let his fame get to his head got into trouble and got banned. I think Zeke reached his peak already unless he gets humbled and turns it back up a few notches. But we would have to get a Hershel type trade to let him go.

He was banned from an incident that occurred before he ever played a down for the Cowboys. He finished this past season second in yards from scrimmage. That is the third time he has done that. I'll take that production on a yearly basis anytime.

I think they could have done well without him with Tony Pollard and if they'd have kept Darius Jackson I'm sure by the time Pollard would have took off Elliott would have decided he better come out of Cabo and honor his contract

Darius Jackson? He has done nothing in his career. He is also 2 years older than Elliott.

Why would the Ravens, who early in FA signed Ingram want EE? Why wouldn't the Bucs sign Brady for 25m per season when that is a discount for a franchise QB?
Tom Brady is 43 years old he was 19th as QB last year he's declining he's not the same guy anymore

1st off they arent crying for cap space, maybe they shouldnt have paid a WR 20mil that showed for 8 games? maybe they should cut Crawford, we need 2 kickers? Doesnt look caps and issue right now, you are misinformed.., the biggest issue is TFred sudden retirement that put 11mil in dead cap on us without warning.... the Fo was supposed to see that coming a year ago?

Zekes still one of the best players in the league and on this team!

maybe pay dak less, he wants Elite money ranked 10-12
the issue with that cap are NOT Zeke he signed a very team friendly deal and still played well.. get past it haters..hes here dont livbe in the past with coulda shoulda its wasted energy!
We should let Tyrone Crawford leave all he's going to do is get hurt is sit on the IR the rest of the season

I agree that he is not the GOAT anymore but I also do not think he is as bad as the numbers reflected. It turns out when your weapons are awful and seemingly do not know how routes work your QB tends to struggle. He will struggle if you can put a hat on him, but as a passer i think he still is probably in the upper half of the league which is why they should be happy he took a discount. There is a reason they managed to win games despite having a QB throw 30 INTs.

In fairness to tom, he didn't have a lot of targets. And his initials are tb.

just saying we have moves to make and really Tfred is the reason we lost a lot of cap space all of a sudden..

There's a shade difference between pros and guys that are out of the league Elliott just because he has a name he gets to be the chosen one Lot of people it happens all the time some draft pick versus a udfa The organization always picks the pick for the starting spot the organization to save face to keep their jobs .Rarely the UDFA gets the nod

Trading Zeke and his contract? LOL. No one is going to trade for that. Dallas would have to send draft picks ALONG WITH Zeke to entice a team to take that contract off our hands.

Mark Ingram ism is a prime example of what talking about .Here's a guy that has slowed down considerably and he's bouncing around now. How many yards did Ingram get last year? 15 games barely over a thousand yards he's 30 years old he's hitting the wall that's what I'm trying to talk about ,Zeke will hit the wall also very soon might as well saved the money for other players

"slowed down considerably"

"bouncing around now"

"hitting the wall"

These are words you shouldn't be using to describe 2019 mark ingram. Dude had one of the best seasons of his career! He averaged 5 yards a tote and had 15 touchdowns lol.

I don't know when Zeke is going to hit the wall, but saying Mark Ingram has is ridiculous. He's only gotten better with age, probably because he didn't have a zillion carries piled on him unlike Zeke.

Cowboys are crying for cap space you signed Elliott last year which they shouldn't have done made him the richest running back They should have traded him away for a first-round and a multiple other picks Running backs don't last that long he's about 25 26 and that's about right when running backs start showing their age Another blunder by Jed Clampett and Jethro running this organization

I never seen where they are crying for cap space. The only person(s) crying are those like you wanting someone or something whine about. So the typical bash Zeke / Jerry thread.

So you're saying Ingram then was the reason the Ravens did so well not Lamar Jackson running around ? It was Lamar ,Ingram was a second thought

How's is it typical for a running back that gets paid .When he doesn't honor his contract and all he did was run around get fat hanging out in Cabo getting drunk. Pollard was here for training camp Elliott wasn't you should give the job to Pollard in spite of Elliott

"regressing"?? The team's performance regressed last year, but Dak's performance did not.
He was not a factor or the difference In any game , and his record against playoff teams was 1-6 . Most of his yards were in futile comeback attempts ,or against cupcakes in the worst division in football . His accuracy is terrible .
