Lol only 3 active qb’s have a career winning percentage against “winning teams”

https://www.___GET_REAL_URL___/s/ww...cowboys-qbs-record-vs-winners-rally-stacks-up

“The "artificial window'' is one major problem with this fake-stat attack on Dak. The other major problem: It creates the faulty illusion that if a QB has a losing record against winning teams, he must be a loser, unworthy of a contract, even unworthy of a job.

The illusion: Every single quarterback in the NFL with enough starts to qualify for consideration here, except for Brady, Ben Roethlisberger and Russell Wilson, are saddled with "losing records against winning teams.''

All of them.

Brady is 70-40 against winning teams.

Roethlisberger is 51-39 against winning teams.

Wilson is 26-21 against winning teams.

That's it. Everyone else, in this category, is Dak-esque.”
oh, you beat me to the punch. some of these extreme dak haters (I was called a dak hater too), like to isolate a stat here and there to make their case....then get destroyed and pull out another meaningless stat in isolation

all these factors you mention are contributing factors, but nothing disguises the fact Dak cannot carry the team or make a difference with his arm . He had plenty of chances . If you want examples other than in 2019 , remember when the team started at 3-5 in 2018 ? Dak had a debacle situation , espeically at home against Tennessee . He was exposed and the season was teetering. Jerry had to spend a 1st rounder on Amari to save the season . Opposing defensive coaches know exactly what Dak cannot do , which is read defenses or throw accurate balls. That can kill a team .
Dak's been carrying the team ever since he became the starter. You should actually watch the Cowboys games.

There will always be questions about a quarterback. It doesn't mean that people hate him. In Minnesota people are still questioning whether Kirk Cousins is the guy, despite the team shelling out a King's ransom for him and his taking his team into the playoffs. Dak has done some good things, and I suspect he'll be around a while, but you never know who might come along and be available. If this team drafts by best player available and that player is a QB, I say draft him. If we have reason to believe he's an upgrade, then you go with him and trade or release Dak. It's a meritocracy. Dak took Romo's job by earning it with good play. The same thing could happen to Dak. It doesn't mean he's hated. The sport is just very competitive.

The Dak Haters can be attributed to a low football IQ. All they see are wins & loses they know nada about the game.
This shows your low football is when the people that use the wins and losses gibberish the most are the pro average Dak crew. They love hyping up him having the second most wins since he entered the league but when it gets thrown back in their face this year they’re the ones that use it? Ok

I think Tony was hated more. Tony had over 20 pages devoted to him on DC.com Fan Forum.

I think it's a matter of time. The hate intensified as he aged in spite of his quality of play improving over the same time because a QB with no rings is just a bad person to a certain kind of fan. It's like you've got to call him a bum and talk about him like he's a bad person for the crime of only being good and not being historically great.

This cuts both ways, Dak was a bum even when he won because he didn't have big stats, and then he got big stats in 2019 and was a bum because well actually stats don't matter.

Who said it didn’t and did you quote the other poster with this Cuts both ways stuff? Dak been a “bum” to me since year 3 because he’s just not it. Besides drastically improving as a passer of the ball not inflated stats either he can’t change my mind. Lucky for him it’s not up to me so he will still get beaucoup money for the Joneses.

This type of pitiful crap is why I don't even value people like you with opinions like this. He can do "nothing to change my mind". This is someone who has a ulterior motive and dislikes him for something other than his play on the field. He could win a Super Bowl and you'd find a reason to dislike him. So F him. Your opinion on the matter is irrelevant. That explains why you never post anything to bad up your claims or stats. Because you have nothing. You just don't like him and nothing will change your mind. I would say god bless you but I'm not sure if it would even reach someone in the pits of hell like you seem to be living in.

so having Gallup a, rookie WR and no TE or other receivers shouldn't factor in...which QBs are able to produce high passing numbers without talented WR group on their team?

and you still didn't answer the coaching question. does playing under Linehan offense impact your ability to produce? we do know in 2018, when we beat philly, Cooper did say he decided to run a different route than it was called, leading to a TD. so players, directly defying their coaches....

so how many QBs produce without talent around them?

It starts with the offensive line - there's no point having excellent receivers if the quarterback does not have time to give them the ball (issue with the Giants in recent years).

Give or take a few games here or there (which we never hear the end of), over the past four years Dak Prescott has largely had at least two and for best part of three years, three All Pro offensive lineman in front of him - talking about potential future Hall of Fame players.

So before people moan or claim that i'm a hater just let that soak in for a few moments...

Yeah, but that's a recent development. Players don't get paid on what they THINK they'll be worth in 2 years. They get paid on what they're worth now, which is where the disconnect comes in.

They try to reset the market.

See this is a very simplistic, naive and ignorant take. It takes an entire team to win playoff games, not just the QB. Coaches and players. Just point out 1 playoff game that you can say Dak lost due to his play.

The one this year

@Section446 didn't like Romo either, I guess.
He's an equal opportunity QB hater!
I guess you can call that fair.

For a guy that apparently thinks the QB is the end-all be-all of a game with tens of other guys on two sides of the ball also trying to influence the game.
Sometimes that's true, but not as much as many tend to think.
I didn't think Romo was a SB caliber QB, but he was better than Dak.

You can be a teenage bop but this looks bad on you sir. This is the people that’s defending Dak smh. Like I’ve been saying it’s a lot of low football iq in that group smh.
I'm glad we have someone here with a firm grasp of Football IQ.
