Jets are dumb then, he's not the difference between a sucky record and a division title.

Lolol..I honestly don't think Jets would accept it

But 17 is my max. I wouldn't offer more

And I wouldn't offer close to that.

Not when I then have to reset the market for safeties, for a strong safety.

We did give up a top 5 pick for a runningback who hasn't been the same since 2016. And then reset the market with his salary.

The biggest mystery thus far in the staff is Mike Nolan.

Agreed, but to me the mystery is just how much better he'll be, never did like the Marinelli hiring, he was running a 20 year old scheme that offenses figured out years before, that he got from Kiffin. And while no doubt being a failed head coach doesn't mean someone can't be a top coordinator or position coach, but seriously, 0-16? His defense alone, if he was really a good DC, should have been able to win a game or two.

Nolan will be better, I have zero doubt of that...

They should have gone after Minkah (Sp?) Fitzpatrick when the Dolphins were doing their fire sale. No player at 17 would have the grade Fitzpatrick would and he has years left on his rookie deal.

Let Jamal Adams go...

You're absolutely right. In retrospect, that was the move to have made. The Steelers already got half a season of quality play and have two more super cheap years and a 5th year option afterwards (I believe).

A great deal.

Jets were 7-6 with Darnold at QB, the Cowboys were 8-8 and lost to them.

You could make that same statement about the Cowboys.
