Jake Fromm,Georgia
Capt James Morgan,FIU

It’s going to be Morgan. It has been widely reported for weeks that the Cowboys are enamored with his arm. They like his swagger.

Me, I’m not so sure. I don’t watch much FIU football but I brought up his “highlight reel” and it looks to me like he under throws passes. I’m not seeing that Brett Favre arm that they’re touting.

I'm intrigued by James Morgan or Anthony Gordon as a developmental QB.

Honestly, I’ve found my mind looking for alternative for Dak and that’s something. I never through I would do.

If I get Fromm or Eason available, I’m taking them. My preference being Fromm. We don’t even know if Dak is ever going to sign a contract. We‘ve already tried to make him the richest contract in NFL history and he didn’t even bother looking at the numbers. He just said “More”.

No. No More.

Here’s your new backup and your replacement if you don’t get it together.

I ride Dak through this franchise year that he forced us into and give McCarthy a year with a rookie QB to evaluate and see if we have something and then at least we may have an option in 2021

it’s certainly worth a 4th round pick to me. No one cares about spending a fourth on Dak. Why would it be a problem now?

Right now we got nada

if we end up signing Dak long term, then Fromm gives us a grade A smart and Dependable backup who can get us a .500 record during any injury stint for Dak.
:hammer:

You nailed it. Mike drop @Kwyn

Fromm is undersized with no arm strength and poor running the ball. He is no chance to make it at NFL level.

He should be an UDFA after this draft as he is rubbish.

Agreed on Sqeaky Fromm and Eason....bust city!! Speaking of busts, so will JK Dobbins...see Maurice Clarett. I realize that highlight reels don’t show the bad, but that link of Montez is impressive...and I had forgotten how mobile and quick he is too for his height.

Agree with you. I think he underthrows the ball a bit too much. I think McDonald is the better QB

I wouldn’t be against a qb in the forth round but would need to see my options. Eason appears to have more upside but would need a lot of work and at least short term would be a mess if he had to play over the next two years. Frohm probably doesn’t have the upside as Eason but could probably play a lot sooner and have the trust of the coaches. While he may not have a plus arm, he has a lot of other items that could make him a success in the nfl. I would probably go a different direction but this team needs to find better depth at qb.
