In looking at film and reading up on our picks... we have added some alphas to this team. CeeDee, Diggs, Gallimore, Robinson, Biadasz, and Anae all are leaders and play with some nasty disposition. So much of this game comes down to willpower and "who wants it more"... Glad we added some dudes that like to get after it and add some toughness and attitude to this team.

Great point! This team has needed some toughness for awhile now. Dak’s been the only one who’s consistently done that the last 4 years.

As long as we have a HC with some authority this time. If JJ allows it and not making it a country club atmosphere. In the past we have gotten good young players and they got spoiled. They are already walking into a circus. We had players like D-Law telling the new players not to worry about JG because he don’t run anything.

MM did say to those who were listening, prior to the draft, that he was wanting just good football players, regardless of draft status and position. HE STAYED TRUE TO THAT. Loved our draft. Now all Jerry and company need to do is stay out of the way and let this Dude do what he does. We won the draft.

I do hope they give MM a chance to run this, and I hope he is good. Sick of hearing that rogers is what made MM look good and he isn’t that great of a HC.

you nailed it. My feeling as well. You can bet MM wants to prove to the Naysayers that he is an elite HC without the almighty Aaron Rodgers. I think he will coach with a chip on his shoulder. LOVE Mikes work ethic. He's old-school. Just what we needed right now. Kudos to Jerry and Stevie for having the sense to hire him. I know we bag on them, but can we step back for a moment and just say, job well done? I think between the draft and the hirings, they been crazy focused on winning a SB. I think I was wrong when I bashed Jerry and Stevie not wanting to change and hire credible guys. I was just wrong. Now lets see if they can stay out the way. lol

Your not the only one that has felt this way about JJ. Most of us shared those thoughts and rightly so. It’s what we are used to. I things have started to change some since SJ has been more involved. He is starting to level things out from the way JJ has ran things for so long.

This draft has showed me there want for this. I know JJ takes input but he will generally take more gambles. Not this year, he got the best players of need and best football players. We didn’t have need for a WR but I don’t think I could have passed up on Lamb. Not many gambles with potential great players but had injuries or off field issues. Only the center had a shoulder injury but don’t look bad.

How do we know? the season yet to start not even training camp time?. I guess the term leader now can be giving to anyone who wears a jersey.

Zeke, Zach, and Tyron have all player with some grit and nastiness. T Fred and Witt too (although Witten’s refusal to accept his football mortality has been frustrating the last 2 years)

You are a leader before you are ever given a C on your jersey. Compare draft notes on guys like Taco and Trysten Hill vs Anae and Biadasz and there is a significant difference

The guys we drafted this year all have some swagger and nasty to their game. To your point— we don’t know until they put the pads on— BUT, past production and behavior is the greatest predictor on future production and behavior, so if these guys continue to be who they have been— we added some gritty, tough, gamers that love to compete

agree...can you imagine what would have happened had we passed on Lamb at 17 then Philly got him? OMG...Jerry would have been ran out on a rail. lol..He couldn't pass him up. The guy is basically Randy Moss in my view. I think he is way better than OBJ...and not a head case. The kid is a winner and just naturally gifted. IF RANDY MOSS, DEANDRE HOPKINS AND Michael Irvin had a kid, he would be CeeDee Lamb. lol...He is all that rolled into 1. JUST AMAZING. Only caveat is, will Dak learn quickly to get him the ball? We only have 1 football lol..and lots to feed. Lets also not sleep on Pollard. He gets forgotten. He may be our marshal Faulk...making Zeke a goaline and short yardage guy. In MM offense, I can see a lesser role for him and Pollard getting more play. Just reading the tea leaves.

If this is true about MM and the way he uses the running game then Elliot will be gone in a few years. No use paying him if he don’t get used. I am hoping that he don’t go to pass happy. Not sure Dak can handle throwing to much every game. When we stayed balanced then we are deadly. We will see what Moore can do. A bunch of weapons all over the field. If we jump up on teams fast and make them one dimensional then thats a great thing for our Defense.

That’s my only concern at this point. No more Marinelli and the bend and break. No more Richard and the locker room being divided between the 2. I want to see some real blitzing.
