Ok FA and the draft is over.

We all have our pet cats. and sometimes one or two emerge in TC.
However, I think right now I am going with QB Ben DiNucci to top my list.

I feel pet cats should be late round draft picks or UDFA's. Some player not expected to make the team or make an impact right away. But has or shows the potential to make the team.

I know some will pick. a high draft pick, and that is understandable. As my other higher drafted player may be Reggie Robinson II.

I did not see any UDFA that standout to choose. Maybe Kamara at LB, but not sure why, need to see in TC.
Though I am sure some will stand out in TC, at least for the PS.

Who is / are your early pet cats?

If the Biadasz qualifies, I'm going with him!

Anae. Reminds me of Demarcus Lawrence on film.

Gallimore. Needs work because right now he’s more chaos than productivity, but I’ll take a little chaos for now in the middle of the DL. I would not be surprised whatsoever if he turns into a Pro Bowler at DT though. He has all the attributes.

Dinucci. I like his arm talent. His passes are sharp and accurate, he puts the ball where he needs to.

You can't pick Lamb or Diggs because they are day one starters.

Anae will make plays as a situational guy and be a fan favorite but I'll go with Robinson, followed closely by Gallimore. I think Badasz needs more time to develop.

You know, I like that guy, DiNucci, also. I saw some videos of him, and he looks good. I know it was just a passing practice video, but he looked good so far, good enough to kick his tires in camp.

I think we have to assume Lamb and Diggs are going to make an impact, so they don't qualify, but I'm anxious as hell to see how Gallimore, Robinson, Biadasz and Anae are going to work out. Gallimore and Biadasz are really the ones that most caught my eye as potential big plusses that we pilfered in middle rounds.

I would say that right now my pet cats would be: Biadasz, Anae and DiNucci (just for backup potential and hopefully the end of the Rush era).

For UDFA's I'd say McKeon (hopefully knocks off Shultz and his untimely penalties), Bernard and either Carter or Kamara.

Also, pulling for one of the UDFA's to end the Noah Brown era and hopefully have potential to be our #4 WR.

Oh, and hopefully any potential punter that we bring in to hopefully compete.

LB Luke Gifford. He flashed pretty well in the preseason last year before getting injured.
I like Gifford a lot. He definitely flashed when he was healthy.

That seems to be the knock on him though. Hopefully he doesn't become another Sean Lee in terms of constant injury concerns.
