Can't believe it.

Lost a lot of respect for him.

He clearly is putting himself before the team when a fair offer was given to him.

I have a feeling this situation will not work out in his favor.

Disappointed in Prescott.

It's Dak career and his alone.

Maybe it works out for him. Maybe it does not. He will be the only one who cares one way or the other in 20 years.

Maybe DAK is not a believer in the Cowboys and wants to move on to another team..... seems like something been blocking the negotiations the whole time.....DAK

So because YOU consider it a fair deal, means Dak should also?

He’s assuming a lot of risk that could have been passed on to Jerry Jones with the future impact of CV19 and league revenues. I would have taken the sure thing, but then again, my mindset isn’t exactly like most pro athletes.

Turned down 100 million guaranteed? What the .....................................?

Yeah, I've had enough of him. He's received more than fair offers for his skill set. The team should see what they can get for him and move on. Draft a QB. Play him on the franchise this year ... or not. Trade him for value if you can. Whatever. We need to move on. If it's possible to trade him away, Dalton is a perfectly fine stop-gap, like Vinnie Testaverde was. Trade up in the draft if need be and draft the best QB possible.

It could be a blessing in disguise because 100 mil guaranteed is overpaying already. Enough is enough. Trade him before the deadline, or play him this season and use him to trade up. Dak + our first for the worst team's first and get us the very first pick in the draft. And get the best QB possible. I can't even think of the guy's name.

Yes, he should because J12B is right. The team is trying to be fair but still have cap money for talent at other positions. Let Dak go play somewhere to a huge over-pay rate with no weapons around him. It's possible to make a good financial move while simultaneously making a bad football move. DeMarco Murray did it, and I'm glad we didn't over-pay him, and he was terrible with the Eagles.

Thanks, J12B. You're totally right. Enough is enough. Let Dak go somewhere making millions with a line that can't protect him and receivers that can barely get open and a defense that can't bail you out when you throw a pick. Sounds like a great career to me. He can be another Archie Manning (not that it was Manning's fault).

Needs a lot of things to go right for him in order to make a handful of extra money...as opposed to just showing up and having it guaranteed.

Many of those have never happened before, or even close really.

He is buying into some bad advice.

I love how players are supposed to roll over or they're "clearly themselves before the team." The Cowboys could have signed him. They chose not to, and now they'll pay.

That's what happens when you worship money; it's much better if players actually play the game with love and allegiance for their team...

He made the biggest mistake of his entire life....

Hopefully, that extra few million was worth it....

It's an indicator of his poor leadership and fake desire to play the game...... Who in their right minds decides to leave the QB1 spot for the Dallas Cowboys?? Seriously, what moron does that??

Unfortunately, Dak isn't suitable to wear the Star after this year. I'm glad we discovered this before shelling out way too much money for an average QB with questionable values...
