Lol went way over your head
Also you dont mention Daks legs when discussing Dak in the redzone, why are you starting now!? Hmmmm

I mentioned his legs.. He only scored three TDs this year on his legs and one of them was a 42 yarder. Now teams are spying on him, daring to beat them with his arm in the red-zone and it doesn’t work.

And it didn’t go over my head. What have you or Adam proven? I’d really like to know? That Dak threw 1 and 2 yard passes?

Want to talk about awful in the redzone?

Gurley- 29 TDS all 29 in redzone
McCaff- 22 TDs 18 redzone TDs
Zeke- 18 TDs 16 redzone TDs
Henry- 28 TDs 23 redzone TDs

Now this is an area where you gain "dirty yards".

You haven’t explained the first stat and now your trying to move on to the second?

I called him a liar then and I'll still do it. I told him he was lying. Just embarrassing.

I’m still waiting for you to prove where I was lying and you still haven’t brought the quote. What’s embarrassing is you jumping out that conversation not bringing it up and than jumping in this conversation and speaking third person calling a me a liar after not even being able to provide a single shred of evidence.

Now hear me out. With Dak most likely playing on the franchise tag this year and next year. The grandson will be draft eligible after the 2021 season the same time it will be financially unfeasible to tag Dak a 3rd time. The timing lines up perfectly and Jerry and Stephen are idiots who have a history of letting Nepotism run wild in the organization.

That nepotism you speak of is Jason Garrett's dad who was a scout for 22 years starting back in 1974 before Jason ever played in the NFL and one brother who was a coach while Garrett was a backup QB and another brother who was on the scouting staff and was hired before Garrett became head coach. None of any other coaches off spring has played for the Cowboys nor any related to Jones so that is a big, huge jump that Jones grandson is headed to be drafted by the Cowboys just because he is his grandson. If John Stephen Jones isn't a NFL quality QB then Jones wouldn't draft him and take all of the jesting that would come by everyone in the sporting world until the day he leaves for doing it.

The Garrett’s are a product of nepotism in Dallas. John was on the Cowboys 1988 roster and also was promoted from TE to PG coordinator in one year with his brother was HC without demonstrating any capability. Judd Garrett was on the roster in 1990. And every Garrett probably got a job in Dallas because of their dad, who worked their way in Jerry’s graces. And after 1990, Judd returned on the practice squad in 1993. Judd Garrett became a scout with the Cowboys in 2008, after Jason was hired as OC. He never coached in Dallas.

And Jason Garrett came in 1993 and played only one year with Jimmy Johnson.

The ONLY reason Jason survived as long as he did, was because of this favoritism. I used the word nepotism, but that’s kind of a strong word. No lining wrong in taking care of family and friends, but not at the expense of the overall objectives.

Even when Jerry cleaned house in 2012, he didn’t fire John openly, but John came out and said he was leaving to pursue other opportunities. Rob Ryan and coaches like Skip Peete were fired. Jerry has had zero problems firing coaches, including Brian Stewart and Wade, mid-season, which is unprecedented for Jerry.

Jason was supposed to be Jerry’s guy that He could sell as his guy, unlike Jimmy Johnson, IMO. Jerry gave Jason Garrett the longest leash in football, including control over the offense, and only let him go after he couldn’t sell him to the public anymore. After 2016, he thought he could get by with coordinators, with JG having little power of calling plays or as Jerry called it, an “ambiguous role”. But 2019 finally came and the contract was over.

Just as an aside, Todd Gurley in 2018 faced 8+ men the box 7.81% of the time, with a 3.65 YPC efficiency while Zeke faced them at 3.63 YPC at 24.67% of the time. McCaffery was 3.44 YPC at 19.63%. Henry was 3.73 YPC at 32.09%.

It’s 2018 which actually distorts the numbers heavily in favor of Gurley. 7.81% is insignificant in comparison to Zeke, it’s not even really comparable. And that’s with the Rams passing attack and blowing teams out. That doesn’t mean Gurley isn’t a beast on the red-zone, but the man averaged 3.8 YPC last year.

And this year also, Goff was better than Dak in the red zone by far in terms of efficiency. And they passed way more in the red zone, meaning defenses were looking at the passing threat. In Carolina, the Panthers were 28th in terms of rushing on first down, while Dallas was 11th. LA Rams were 25th. The Cowboys were that low because of playing from behind. The last four years Dallas has been 1, 3 and 6 in terms of rushing on first down meaning the predictability of Zeke running on first down compared to McCaffery is significant. In Zeke’s first two years the numbers were close to 40% rushing on first down.
