McCarthy should declare open competition at every position including quarterback. What that means is the Cowboys should substitute heavily during the first two games. Dalton should play at least a quarter during the first 3-4 games. He shouldn't substitute a majority of players at the same time, he should leave 75% of the assumed starters on the field and rotate in players throughout the games.

Let's see every player in real games that count. Every year we see a 3rd team QB with the 3rd team offense in the 4th quarter of a preseason game. How can that be fair when the other QB's are out there with the top talent? If they can play some in the first couple games it will be with the 1st team, every player competes under the same circumstances.

It would be worth risking a couple early season games to find out what we really have. All we have and usually have during the preseason is speculation. I think it would make the team much stronger later in the season.

Who is better Dalton or Prescott? Let's throw our opinions in the trash and see for ourselves.

Yall are downplaying it but read between the lines.

-Kitna was let go (Dak was a huge Kitna supporter)

-Garrett was let go (Theres a report saying Dak was disappointed about this)

-Tad’s “I dont know how much longer ima root for the Cowboys”

-Dak being unrealistic with his contract demands and allegedly wanting to play on the tag

-Dak nor McCarthy reaching out to each other for weeks after the hire

-Dak not reaching out to his new weapon Ceedee

-Tank, Smith, Zeke, and Coop all getting their bread while the QB has to play on the tag

If you are non-biased, you probably would come to the same conclusion that the former coach did

Just seems irresponsible to report an opinion and state it as fact. But that’s the world we live in. Especially the opinion of a former coach who’s probably still upset he was canned and wants to cause drama lol. It’s probably Garrett hahah.

Honestly it’s an ex coach who’s still upset he’s either unemployed or no longer on America’s team. And how does an ex coach know what’s going thru a current players head? Lol. Sounds like someone scorned who’s starting drama.

As much as I want it to be true, even the biggest Dak supporter should analyze exactly what has gone on between the team/front-office and Dak and realize its not far-fetched that he doesnt want to be here.

I mean if you were the QB, played every single game even some while injured, and was grossly underpaid compared to other bum qbs in the league, wouldnt you be upset that the team paid Lawerence, Jaylon friggin Smith, Zeke, and Coop all before you?

I can see where the conclusion comes from or why the coach feels that way.

Of course, that doesn’t mean it’s necessarily how Dak feels.

Of course, A lot will come down to the $ probably. If Dallas offers as much as anyone else. He probably stays. If somebody else offers more. It sounds like he will be gone.

Im still skeptical, but this isnt something I would disregard either. I want more information to come out on this

Come on guys...Didn't your Mamma's teach you that actions speak louder than words. If Dak wanted to be a cowboy for life he would. He doesn't and he won't so
just come to terms with it.

Ill be honest, the only reason I would think otherwise is Dak is playing for his favorite childhood team and it is the Dallas Cowboys.

But.....In the last 25 years, that doesnt mean as much to this new generation of players. Most of these guys relate this team to mediocrity, thanks to Jerry..

Good. He has pride, I don't blame him. I asked a school for a three year contract after taking a losing program and being ranked in the top ten in the state within two years., They said, of course and then didn't deliver. I left after the next season. They offered me a three year deal to stay, but it was too late! Workwd out, got a 30% raise and we were very successful.

This is how conspiracy theorists get their start.
And private investigators... which kind of sounds like fun.

Let's start a business like Moonlighting, but without the sexual tension!

"Told ya so, Told ya so" Na Na, Poo poo Dak stinks like Doo Doo.
Serious question, Would the NY Giants trade Daniel Jones for Dak Prescott??
Would the Dallas Cowboys trade Dak Prescott for Daniel Jones??
What would one team have to Add to the trade to make it happen??

“At this point, no, I don’t think so. However he will not say it or show it; the kid is a stud...”
Literally says that Dak does not show it, but he still glibly reads Dak's mind to divide him from the team.

If this happened and is not just more fake news, the coach should be fired.

If it is fake news, Broadus should be banned from all Cowboys facilities.

Divisive false witness should have consequences.

Why do people continually act like Dak has been done bad by the FO?

They wasted four years on this guy, through Zeke’s suspension, getting rid of Dez, the guy looks pretty awful when Smith is out and they then went and got Cooper after people had their eyes on how awful Dak was with Quincy Carter level stats and the year before, leading the league in sacks with PFF attributing over 30% and probably close to 40% of sacks to him in 2017, like 17 out of 47, if I remember correctly, tailoring the offense to his skill-set using heavy play-action and shotgun, while extremely limited the seven-step drop, from the moment he started.... Now they just added Cee Dee Lamb...
