Just like I thought, season ticket holders will be given the option to apply it to future tickets. However it seems any refunds will be in the form of the original payments. As opposed to asking for it in writing.

It does not say what a seating capacity will be, if any.

Also they will have the right to purchase single game seats, if they do not want to keep what they have for all games.

I see 25% capacity or half. Hoping they try half and increase as the season goes on.

Wear masks.

That is the way I see it, wear masks, take temperatures before they walk in.

Winstar Casino takes temperatures and requires masks.
I have not heard or seen any outbreaks from it yet from patrons that have gone.

Can't socially distance at 50% occupancy and that's more important than wearing masks. And the people that attend aren't the issue, it's everywhere they go after attending.

glimm, I do not see the people attending events like that as ones to be careful about even keeping a mask on. I think they're inviting a bigger problem with fans in attendance. That exponentially increases the chances of a lost season and further shutdowns on the economy and for what? So people can attend a football game? People need to get their priorities straight, work and school, everything else is far far behind.

Temp checks are a poor screen as not all victims have fever. When I got tested, I brought that up that I had a normal temp and they said that is not a universal symptom.

Maybe so, but it is still an indicator, even if someone just has the flu, keep them away.
And it is a feel good gesture that people like.

If you were going somewhere, say a grocery store, and they are equal stores, would you go to one that checks temperatures or one that does not. Yes there will be ones that do not want to hassle with it.

Do the checks regardless.

They seem to be shoving things along so I wouldn’t be surprised to see fans in the stands. They are opening schools. They are slowly moving towards herd immunity whether we like it or not. Didn’t say I agree with it.

Nor is mask wearing 100% effective. But combined with social distancing, hand washing and similarly easy measures, it can create a winning formula for mitigating spread.

I could see them at least allowing suites. If I remember correctly a large chunk of the actual gate revenue is the payment for the rights to the suites (it was over 100 million if not close to 200 )

They will be doing something. They will wait to see how things are end of August.

not worth opening at 25% half minimum because lie restaurants they cant bring in staff and concessions etc and make it worth turning on lights/ac for 25..i see many restaurants around here that offer inside dining didnt open at 50% they want 75 -100 to staff for dining area.. so it will be 50-75 to make owners even allow fans..

I believe the NFL is foolish to even allow 25% capacity into these stadiums. With the sun belt states like Texas spiking right now, I just don’t see allowing fans to gather in large capacities like this as being good for anyone. Including the NFL. But greed is a powerful elixir.

People want to get out, and go do things. In my area, half way between Dallas and FW, just north of Arlington, places are packed even at 50%.
Fast food lines are 5 to 10 deep at times.
Chic-Fil-A's are 15 cars deep or more with two drive through lanes. Some cars are backed up on the side of the access roads from highways.

Walmart and other stores parking lot are half full. People will go to games and fill it up to whatever capacity they deem safe. Which right now, most places are at 50% no matter what venue.
Except bars are closed. Don't even get me started on that mess.

Masks better be required and the fan attendance is kept at a reasonable number, but it's Texas so I've come to expect the stupidest, most mind boggling approach to this.

There is no way in hell 75% is happening. Even if there were a vaccine by then (and there won't be), that number would make no sense. Teams are going to have to get by with 25-50% max, if there are any fans at all.

Not mention hooch, snacks, no traffic and no waiting bathrooms and if the games sucks, we can just turn it off and do something else....involving hooch and snacks.

exactly. i've soured from going on games for a while now for just those reasons. couple it w/ putting myself and family at risk? yeah, hard pass.
