Yeah..

Something definitely a weird deal here.

We are missing something for sure.

I never like thinking about conspiracy when it comes to Goodell and our team..

but there seems little else to think.

Obviously the team had figured on Randy being available and was going to draft a DL with our #1 pick in the last draft.

Lamb being there was totally a surprise, but knowing Gregory was going to be available factored into taking Lamb instead.

Without Randy playing, the NFL FO has entered into very suspicious behavior since we are now under the new labor agreement.

The Union needs to be addressed about this.

Yesterday.

Sign Griffin.

All our problems and potential problems go away.

Stupid front office.

Oh wow. Maybe he should kool out a bit. They will likely let him join the team soon. But don’t draw attention to yourself to much..

I don't see much of a problem with him calling out his own union. If he goes on a verbal tirade against the league beyond what he has said, then yeah, that wouldn't be wise. But if the NFLPA is screwing him as well, call them out. I bet a lot of players would take his side.

Don’t have to with the weed rule. If it’s retro for all players. Gregory has only been suspended for weed which is now only a fine. Heck JJ will likely pay the fines for his players.

Glim......I'll go back to what I've said before about Randy getting back in. We've been hearing Randy's ready fo reinstatement for almost two years now. For Randy to now blame CV19 is weak........maybe I'm being little hard but that how I see it.

Does anyone ever take responsibility for their own actions? How many chances did you have Randy before you decided to get your act together and now you want to play the victim?

It would be nice to see him back but I have zero sympathy for him.

Plenty of reasons.........look, Goodell wanna see Randy back in the league doing well IMO. If nothing more than the show the league program works.
Like what? I don't understand how Josh Gordon could have more offenses and more chances than Randy Gregory. What are the circumstances or reasons I'm missing?

Thanks.

What a suspension of all responsibility and reason by this dope RG.
And some of you naïve louts will feel sorry for him and cheer him on.
We've been waiting how long for this ameoba?
HE'S NOT THAT GOOD, BLOKES!!!!

I'm replying to this only so I don't have to search hard for it in the future. Have a wonderful day.

It's pretty clear that is what the league is telling him and his reps.

This guy started screwing up before he even got in the league and has continually blown chance after chance and I have 0 sympathy for him. It's ok to make mistakes, even smart people make them but not the same one over and over when there are probably hundreds of players smoking dope and not getting caught. They wasted a 2nd round pick on a stupid player because they don't place enough value on smart.

He had multiple chances. But if the league is dragging him along, that's on them and he's right to call them out. Per league rules and the CBA, he absolutely has a right to ask for reinstatement. He does not have a life time ban. So by rule, if he has the right to ask for reinstatement, then the league has to follow the rules and protocols and give him a fair shake. If what he says is true, the league is dragging this out and basically ducking him, then yeah, he's kind of a victim here. You may hate that he's been suspended for drugs before but the reality is per the rules he has rights and if the league is playing games here, then they are the problem, not him.

And note, before you call me a Gregory apologist, note that I don't have much confidence in him or Smith, which is why I have been lobbying for months to bring Griffin in as our starting RDE.

And I don't think Randy is the one blaming the pandemic here. He's claiming the league has told him that the reinstatement process is taking time because they are also dealing with pandemic. If that's what they said, that's pretty weak on their part.

Oh lawd, here goes the victimhood. Just like they already re-instated Martavius Bryant and Josh Gordon, right? Oh wait, they're not. Guess Goodell hates all teams since they're free agents, right?

Oh Lawd...here comes take the high-road-hood and not open the eyes to what has been true more so with us than any other team crowd.

Yes they have not been reinstated yet, but also they are not signed with any team, so there fore they can't apply. Until they are signed. As they need to finish their suspension if they were, as far as I know. Antonio Brown, he has been suspended, and it is 8 games even if he signs.

Completely different than Gregory's situation. You know how often many things work against Dallas, but yet you will not admit it, because you are blind to think all is fair in the NFL. Well it isn't and you know it.

Apparently 4 chances isn’t enough. Let’s just give him a 5th chance. That’s all he needs. Especially since weed is only a fine now. Since he only smokes weed then he will now have a career.

I'm sure Randy is frustrated and I can't say as I blame him. I also can't blame folks for being skeptical that he really is intent upon observing the rules for being a reliable member of the Cowboys and doing what's necessary to fulfill their wants. Maybe he wants to continue being a stoner and maybe that's something that those in power refuse to allow. I guess we'll see who wins in the end. I wouldn't really want to bet on Randy Gregory being him!

I don’t trust the league, the team or Randy regarding this situation. I will just wait to see if he steps onto the field again during a game. Until that time I will assume he never will.

That’s kind of what I said in a earlier post. He has been suspended 4 times now for the same thing. This is on him. I feel for him if he has anxiety or a problem. But don’t get upset on twitter cause they aren’t in a hurry to give you a 5th chance. But he will have a career with us now that weed is just a fine. If he gets popped for steroids now then I will laugh.

He will be back. And will fail a test for weed almost instantly and start getting his fines. JJ will pay the fines and he will have 10-12 sacks this year.

I hope the guy has straightened himself out and gets another chance in the league, however, this was why I thought it wrong for us to assume he would be on the roster and possibly start or play a big role as defensive end.

I would love to have him but counting on someone who hasn't proven they can stay on the field and isn't even reinstated to play a position of need just seems like a bad idea.

I'm hoping Aldon Smith can be a pleseant surprise but I'd be happier signing Everson Griffen at this point.

Its still not over for Gregory but it isn't looking too good right now. If he comes back that's great but it should not be something we count on moving forward.
