Aldon Smith better bring his Delorean with him to camp as Dallas is really going to need him to perform.
Smith is probably the reason they are not geeked about Randy to get him to camp.

Smith is another high risk guy that could as easily fail as succeed.

Gregory unlike Smith seems more likely to dump out on the team with his past behavior.

I hope things work out but I get tired of the extra drama it all brings.

I doubt Big Mike wants to buy in either.

I don't think there is a lot to worry about with Aldon Smith. He's got a few years of age/maturity on Gregory and I think he's got a more clear perspective, being out of the league so long.

If he can manage 5 sacks minimum, it was a brilliant signing imo.

Brown is definitely underrated IMO, and someone we are going to need.

Xavier Woods stinks. I'm sorry he just does.

He is like a poor man's Sensabaugh, who wasnt anything great. Upgrade needed there badly.

I know....tell me about his 5 interceptions. More stats that add up to gone in round two at best for 25 years.

Jerry's yacht was spotted off the coast of Washington state. Does Clowney still reside in the Seattle area? Possibly a mask to mask discussion about a sensible contract?

Until Lee can't stand there's no way LVE is the "best tackler" on the team.

A few tidbits and makes sense for the most part. Nothing outrageous from JJT as he can be at times.
Who really knows about Gregory, but it seems to be the best explanation that is out there. Though in the past they never commented on such things to the media. Or seemed to not comment. This is the only questionable thing there is.

Brown is underrated by many fans. I was glad they resigned him to a decent contract.
Never was high on Griffin or Clowney coming here, glad they did not eat that cheese.

Anthony Brown sucks...he has absolutely no ball awareness. Why we kept this turd...only Kris Richard knows. I'm gonna laugh when he finally gets the ax. Let's put it this way....if we had a pre-season...I'd put money on it McCarthy would have cut him after seeing how lost in coverage he gets.

I've written him off. It's just not healthy to lament what could have been. It seems as though the probability of Gregory contributing has become so small that it's best to move on.

Really, there are so many others in the mix, we just need a few more strong showings and the best candidates are those low round picks that have been around a couple seasons and are now ready to breakout. I'm looking for guys like Jalen Jelks, Dorance Armstrong, Joe Jackson and even Trysten Hill to prove they want to be part of something special.

Guessing Gregory missed or even failed drug tests. Now that weed is just a fine at the worst, he maybe reinstated. But who knows how goodell is going to handle a player that has been indefinitely suspended for weed, likey failed or missed tests before the rule change. If I was goodell I would not be real happy with a player that can’t stay within the rules even though the penalty for the rule no longer includes suspension.

Typical off-based hate response at usual.

And apparently MM was the one wanted to keep him, as he was a FA and the team resigned him. Richard had nothing to do with it.

2. LVE made the news yesterday discussing his move to middle linebacker, where he played a lot as a rookie. Why? He's terrific in coverage. Two years ago he had two interceptions and seven pass deflections. The other reason is he has outstanding speed for a linebacker of his size. He's also a better tackler than Jaylon Smith. When he is healthy, he is the best tackler on the team, and it's not even close. It will also put Jaylon Smith in a better position to succeed as well, as the Cowboys presumably want to get him more involved in the pass rush.

LVE at MLB was obvious to everyone but the previous coaching regime. Jaylon rushing more too.

What else can you expect from the guy who championed Kellen Moore as our franchise QB?

I am so starved for content but again JJT is providing literally nothing here. Hate the term whispers if there's not more there than this.

Gregory has a long history of issues with the prescribed program wanting him to focus on therapy, and other drugs for his issues rather than weed.
He believes as do many that weed is less harmful than other solutions and well... far easier and less time consuming.
If the NFL gives up this anti-weed angle my guess is RG can get a shot, if not he'll be a casualty of this dated policy.

Obviously DAL wasn't signing Clowney or EG for over 10M as they had just over 6m in cap space.

AB is obviously the most underrated guy given he is considered a starter outside or inside at CB plus with ST ability.
The team locked him up for a great deal early.

LVE-Jaylon. Makes sense on many levels to swap them but to do so you gotta know LVE is actually healthy.
The real question to answer here is what happens if LVE is out? Is Smith still the Will and Lee comes in at the Mike?
We could have gotten info here but this wasn't it.
And pretending Jaylon can't pass rush is goofy. It was his best skill in college and his most reliable as a pro. Change of direction and drop then drive much tougher on him then merely attacking.

The NFL can't stay within the law itself. It committed collusion and if the supreme Court wasn't controlled by the same powers that the NFL is, there would be a slew of cases the NFL would lose, starting with antitrust laws and all kinds of crap. Zeke wouldn't have been suspended, nor Tom Brady, and on and on.

MLB and WLB were basically the same position in Marinelli's defense, especially in Nickel.

The reads were a little different and they had the WLB align on the side with the 3tech in order to keep their reads from changing from play to play; however their run defense responsibilities were primarily based on if they were the play side or backside LB.

In the Mike Nolan defense there is a big difference between MLB and OLB.

Are you talking three LB sets or two?

Most of my comments about LVE as MLB are about 3 LB sets. Interesting that Nolan makes them much more different in 2LB sets.
