Good to see MM is impressed with the way Dak is throwing the ball. If he wasn’t then he would have used other words or not said anything. So I guess now everything is ok. MM and Dak like each other. Lol.

Something fans will learn about MM........he shoots straight from the hip with little or no filter. He'll say what he means, no sugarcoating.

Hope so.

Would be refreshing after a decade of robotic responses.

Why is this such a big deal. Everyone looks good practicing in shorts against air..

This year take every report with a grain of salt.

We the fanbase won't know anything about this team until week one when the bullets start flying for real.

Typical troll reaction. Perfect example of why you are a troll.

A genuine Cowboys fan would be happy at the fact that his young QB took the time to BUILD A FOOTBALL FIELD at his home so that he could get in the work with his receivers knowing he was going to miss the offseason stuff. Its called leadership in case you didn't know what it looks like.

How many QB's have you EVER heard building a football field at his house?

-Dedication
-Preparation
-Leadership
-Work Ethic

As opposed to getting drunk in Cabo while everyone else busts their butt?

Pot meet kettle.

You are the one who goes around defending Prescott in every single thread and every single post. That is a troll.

If you had read my posts, yeah more than one. You would have seen it was about the reporting this year. How as fans we need to take everything as fluff because there is no preseason and no way to guage the team.

If you listen to McCarthy it was your usual coach speak and nothing more.

As for Prescott building a football field, I don't care. It's the same as players taking boxing, jujitsu, dancing, and other things to improve. Show me on the field.

Finally, I had said Prescott would not be resigned. The reason I said that was because you needed to follow the teams action, or in this case, inaction. I was correct. You and your fellow Prescott Posse were adamant about Prescott getting signed and went after anyone that had a different point of view with total disdain. The silver lining to this has been the reduction of your groups posting. And in America's Cowboys case, not posting at all. It has been a blessing to the board. Please crawl back under your rock and make it heaven.

I’ve heard all along that Moore would call the plays, but it would be with Mikes concepts. He didn’t want to change terminology this season so they could all grasp it quickly. When we retained Moore originally I assumed it was to call the JG offense which I wasn’t happy about. But everything I’ve heard since is that it will be Mikes playbook, with the same terms they’ve been using for year.

Having said that, changing the terminology with a new team during Covid might be overwhelming if that’s truly the case!

Most teams take years to learn WCO concepts.

Too bad it took Jerry this long to get rid of Garrett. It would have been great to see what Romo could have done with a legitimate play caller, even without this stacked roster.

So defending the QB of the Dallas Cowboys makes me a troll? :lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao::lmao::lmao:

I only defend him against stupid comments like the ones that you make. Just like I would defend any player or coach against dumb comments. Just like I would hammer any homer that said anything over the top.

Honestly................you really just show a complete lack of understanding of football in general, the Cowboys, and the QB position.

Hell...............you cant even figure out the basic principals of the team.

Here is a basic test on the facts about last years Cowboys. Lets see how you answer it.

Put these parts of the team in order from last year. 1 being the biggest strength of the team and 4 being the biggest weakness:

Special Teams, Coaching, Offense, Defense

By all means just disregard what actual coaches say before week 1. Heck what do they know.

But hey, if that's trolling then keep on trolling my friend. Keep on trolling.

@CowboyRoy even Matt Nagy has given Trubisky kind words for stepping up in mental preparations even with the trade for Foles. People are just pointing out this is your typical coach speak for a preseason press conference. That's all. I am not blown away by it. You have good coaches in their own way say the same thing across the league.

I think that is @12+88=7 stance that it is just vanilla coach speak that even more so this year with the virus you have to take it with even more of a grain of salt.

When is the last time Trubinsky led the #1 ranked offense in football?

Although the Cowboys defense sure made him look elite this year.

That's not the point dude. At all. The issue is people know cliched coach speak when we hear it and there is nothing to be excited about over it.

I was using Trubisky as an example of how a coach can throw him under the bus but doesn't when speaking to the media.

You typically don't get straight answers unless it's a memorable meltdown like "playoffs".

No. I wasn't surprised, upset,or encouraged by anything McCarthy said.

Roll the ball out and play some ball. The proofs in the pudding and I don't care about any spin doctoring coming from anyone from this team.

Thanks for understanding the point. That's all it was.

CowboyRoy takes any point, no matter how minute, to be a direct shot at Prescott. Speak ill about the Dallas offense in general, a shot at Prescott. Mention that a press conference was merely coach speak, a shot at Prescott. It's endless.

Look how you gave an example of coach speak using Chicago, a shot at Prescott.

Logic and common sense won't work either. Because he sees himself as being righteous and needing to protect Prescott's virtue. And you're just a troll spreading blasphemy on his god Prescott.

Matt Nagy also literally told Trubisky to step the "fornicate" up on national TV no less.

Why do we have to take what McCarthy stated in the press conference about Dak Prescott and Kellen Moore for that matter, with a grain of salt then? It's no coincidence that both Dak and Kellen are key to this modified offense being effectively installed and optimally used.

Certainly there a number of other head coaches likely praising their quarterbacks in the media as well at this juncture of pre-season. Does that mean their goal is to just spout positives in the media to boost up their quarterbacks?
Did McCarthy insinuate in front of the media that Dak is making such a gargantuan effort that the Cowboys have the Super Bowl wrapped up this season?

Ok, you are not blown away over the comments. Neither am I, but for those of us who welcome McCarthy's words we are pleased that things are starting out well between McCarthy, Dak and also Kellen Moore. If you recall there are posters in here who predicted a rocky relationship between McCarthy and Dak, based on them purportedly not talking much during the off-season, and that Andy Dalton was McCarthy's eventual Dak replacement move.

Even before McCarthy became head coach he made positive comments about studying film on Dak and then there were posters in here commenting that McCarthy was stating those things because he was trying to get hired. So yes, some, but not all all Dak critics in here will likely be downplaying whatever positives McCarthy has to say about Dak and inflate any questionable or concerns McCarthy has about Dak as or if this season rolls on.
