Honestly no Eagles dline is pretty darn good. Remember they got hargrove this offseason. Potentially tho. The cowboys could have the best. If Aldon Smith comes back at half the player with his head on straight.. and Gregory back who looks like he really wants it more than ever.. yea cowboys dline can be very dangerous

I'm also hopeful of Bradlee Anae, even tho he's a rookie. If he remotely resembles the DE he was at Utah, he'll be a hit. We'll see! ;)

couldn't stand garrett, never sold on romo. now witten finally gone from that era. Finally starting new after all those years.

I was willing to give Garrett a chance, but was never high on him from the start either. Was done with him after the three 8-8 seasons, then was well, wait and see after going 12-4. Then soured on him altogether after that. Especially after the 2017 season.

Romo, I was never 100% sure about him either. At times I really liked him, at times I didn't. However, what I do not like now how those that put him on a pedestal after he retired. Witten needed to go. 3 years ago or at least stayed retired. I still hold it against him for retiring like he in the middle of the draft.

I have a friend that keeps on saying, well, Tony never had a team like they have now. I said, yes he did, in a way. But it is a narrative many fans use. I told him it doesn't matter, Tony was never going to make it through 16 games ever again.

Poe and McCoy in the middle are no chumps either. Poe is not going to be easy to slow down one on one. This is without even mentioning Aldon Smith. He's a luxury item and Gregory is a long shot. But if all are there, that's a nice rotation.

Griffin is shocked himself. Hope for the best but expect the unreliable: https://www.si.com/nfl/vikings/news/everson-griffen-opens-up-2018-mental-health-struggles
Great point sir! I hope the best for Griffen. I think this statement by Griffen is the main reason Cowboys signed Griffen. They had access to his medical records and Griffen was willing back in May to share with any interested team. Cowboys have the resources to handle a player like Griffen situation and I think over years Cowboys pride themselves in helping players like Griffen see history

If an interested NFL team wants to speak to his doctors, or view his medical records, Griffen says, "Yeah, of course. Why not? There's nothing to hide."

Can't wait for Barkley to have -10 yards on this DL.
However the Barkley slobberers will use the excuse...but Garrett is the play caller...:lmao:

Well..

we leave no stone unturned when it comes to looking at help.

This should be a good fit for him with his mission to reestablish himself.

Our staff is seemingly gearing itself to take on these types of guy like him and Alsdon Smith to see if they have it together.

Not to mention they still look for Gregory to return DTR.

That's a full house of rehabs. man.

I cannot be understated that we got a much more well rounded DE for a fraction of what it would have cost to bring Quinn back.

This is true but Quinn had more sacks in less games than Griffen last season. Yes I know Quinn was terrible against the run but everybody is talking about sacks and he didn't have more than Quinn. Quinn 11.5 Griffen 8. At 10 mil that's a pricey 1 year rental.

That's pretty funny since Romo holds most of the Cowboys passing records and Witten is like 4th in career in the entire league for TE's.

Anyone that knows football knows romo was the first qb here for a decade after the nfl went pass mode.
