Since 2014, Garrett himself rebounded from every mediocre odd year with an average of 12 wins and a divisional playoff game. That means for the Fat Man to have any noticeable impact, he needs to make the championship game... and some of you are going to be extremely disappointed when that doesn’t happen. In the days we now know as parity, all a fan can really ask for is simply that their team has a realistic shot at a title run. I actually believe the Cowboys have had 2 real serious contenders

The rest of the time we might have been good enough to get to play offs sporadically and lose to better teams

Personally I think we treaded water on a guy that history has shown was over his head here and now is new day in Dallas!

Mcarthy has warts as seen throughout his career but he knows how to win- This is something that Garrett’s teams didn’t have- a guy that knows how to win a Super Bowl because he did it but here’s the big but

History not on his side as no coach has won it in two places in the history of NFL but there is always a first

I’m waiting to see what identity this team has before I say if we do have a contender. We need to learn how to win when it counts before can be champions and it usually takes progressive steps to win meaning there only been one team that has won it coming off a 500 record

Am I excited ? Hell yes but I’m cautiously optimistic

The roster is not top-notch.
We have a major ? marks at QB, DB, TE, LB (Jaylon won't do), and its a new coaching staff and growing pains will be most evident esp on offense.
This team will sink or swim if it has corrected its offensive woes against defenses with a pulse.

Bill Parcells had two Super Bowl Championships on his resume and he did it without Aaron Rodgers.
