If players were cut/traded for punching teammates, then Randy White, Charles Haley and Erik Williams would not have been with the Cowboys for long...
true tye were simply looking for an excuse and found one..

He may be done in the NFL. Had 2 broken legs and is aging. Now off field issues and finally it spills over to the field and his team mates. Don’t do it JJ. This would be a JJ type move. Not sure MM would want him. We have a good vibe going right now. Let’s not ruin it by bringing in someone that has these type issues...

The only way I would do it is I would sign him for a pittance with no trade capital and make the entire contract contingent on him behaving like a choir boy.
I'm all about winning, but it doesn't sound like he's been a model-teammate during his time in Baltimore, we can't have that with this young of a team.

Nolan plays a base 2-deep Safety scheme.

The Legion of Boom was famous for their single-high Safety coverage scheme(s).

LoB played their CBs in a way that narrowed the middle area that ET had to cover.
- Their CBs kick-step press technique that forced WR to commit inside/outside off the snap, gave ET an early read.

The two factors above allowed ET more freedom to be a play-maker than some other Free Safeties because he didn't have to "play it safe" all the time.

In Nolan's scheme each Safety will have more run responsibilities than a single-high FS but less than an in-the-box SS.

They will mix in some single-high, but in the past his base has been 2-deep.

Note: The Safeties in 2-deep are not as a deep as a single-high FS but deeper than a box Strong Safety.
Good info. I knew about Seattle's scheme haven't had time to go over how Nolan handles his back end.

let the bidding begin..a 4th rounder, maybe a low-end compensatory 4th and half his salary? welcome back to TX.. :)

His salary is 10M for 2020.

The Cowboys didn't sign him when he was a free agent.

The new defensive scheme is opposite of the Legion of Boom scheme that made him a Super Star.

I don't think the Cowboys will trade for him.

If he gets cut, then the contract is over and it's just a matter of what he'll accept as a salary for 2020. The Ravens would still be paying him 10M in salary plus he pocketed a 20M signing bonus when signed in 2019.
- His total contract was 3 years, 55M; therefore, if they Raven cut him it will have been 2-years, 30M. That's a big chunk of the "final payday" that he was seeking back during this final year in Seattle.
- He might be more focused on getting another ring now than money which was his top focus before departing Seattle.
