Lael Collins out on boat this morning

As a fan I want them to have a real life about 1 day a week during the season and that’s the day after we play.

Monday is typically their day off I believe.

I am more annoyed with him coming to camp out of shape if that happened than spending time on a boat. Is he following his rehab schedule?

I disagree Its a boat I boat all the time, can easily slip, especially his big *** rocking the boat stepping into it and it looks very bad, game week you on IR for bad hip..

He could slip walking down the steps at his house. It's really not that difficult to be safe on a boat.

Like others have said, the optics may not be great, but it's not necessarily a real issue.

Being healthy enough to fish and being healthy enough to play right tackle in the NFL are completely different beasts.

I just did some research on the "Rona" and I found out that you actually can catch the "rona" from a fish! Who would of thunk?

Just think that only became a story because the New York writers were fishing for dirt on Romo and or Jerry. As soon as NY beat Tampa and knew they were coming here it got blown out of proportion and has its own like pop culture. The new york writers made a big deal out of it...(They also brought a Jessica Simpson impersonator to texas stadium and took pictures of her as a jinx on Romo) it went from the NY writers to ESPN and specifically Mike Wilbon who clutched his pearls everyday for a week about it.

It was the exact drama the NY writers were looking for. They also made up a story that got to the fox pregame about Jerry passing out NFC Championship game tickets in the locker room which did not happen. Coughlin said in the locker room after the game tell Jerry he wont need the tickets.......

The whole Cabo thing had Zero to do with the game and none of the players cared about it. It sucks that it was Jessica Simpsons father who leaked the photo and the story as promotional nonsense for his daughter.

I recall thinking at the time that Romo shouldn't have put himself in such a situation. As you point out, though, the media was looking for a story.

During the course of my career (now retired), I found that the best means to set the mind, body and spirit right prior to some major work event or deadline was to get away -- maybe a day or two spent diving, spa, long drive, etc. I shudder to think what my company may have made of my approach to de-stressing

My dad is 81, just had heart surgery, and goes fishing.
I am almost half his age, workout every day and if I played one snap in the NFL, I would likely be broken in half.
I don't get the big deal.

Best to your dad. Humor and enjoyable pursuits are good medicine.

You are out numbered quite a bit in this thread. That is the one reason I still have hope in humanity. I've found recently, that even though there are many people like you out there ready to hate/tear other people down over absolutely nothing, there are much, much more people out there who are realistic thinkers with morals and a brain. When that group gets fed up and decides to start speaking out....watch out.

reminds me of baseball when Yoenis Cespedes was seen golfing while out with an injury and again this year photographed at a night club days before he opted out of the season for covid concerns
