First it was Edwards-Helaire, now it's Lamb's turn

No preseason in the 2020 season heavily favors dynamic offensive rookie players in the early weeks of the season as there is no real professional tape on any of them. We saw it in the Chiefs game despite a good Houston defense with their rookie runningback and we could see it again tomorrow night if the Cowboys take advantage of this. There is simply too much attention towards Cooper and Gallup's 1,000 yard seasons last year so we could see a big offensive receiving game tomorrow.

I'm very excited.

Outside Moss, I've never seen another rookie WR amount to anything his first season.

Really? There's plenty.

Even Amari Cooper had a 1,000 yard season. Others like OBJ, Julio Jones, Mike Evans, Michael Thomas also had similar or better numbers.

I mean there have been some but I get what you’re saying.

Most rookie QB’s don’t amount to much either but look at Dak. Being in an extremely optimal environment helps.

Lamb has a lot going in his favor..

1. He’s playing in the slot.

2. He played in an offense in college that had him doing a lot.

3. He’s not going to be the focus for defense.. If he becomes their focus then that means we are about to average 33 a game.

He just has so many things going on his favor.

It's not the most common occurrence but it does happen more than just Randy Moss. There was also this player named Bob Hayes that posted 1k yards and 12 tds in his first season. : )

I'm not expecting a Moss like year from Cee Dee as there's only so many balls to go around. However, if he catches the 55+ balls Cobb did last year I would suspect we would be very pleased with what that translate too in yards and Tds.

why not Diggs, I mean the rookie DB forced into action made a bigger play FOR KC..

I have Lamb, Marquis Brown, Tyree Hill (whom I've already played) and Cooper Kupp.

I'm almost tempted to put Lamb in. Kupp has that spot for now.

I'm hearing Edwards-Helaire will be the Rookie of the Year, not Lamb.
ONE GAME lets wait until week 10 and see where all the rookies are..

kind of easy when you are the new MJD kind of back and all the focus is on Mahomes. Kelce, and Hill.. they played Watt inside in hopes to create more pass rush and they ran at him all day dude was out of position most of the game..

was a shocker, especially to the texans, them using a RB all game and played small ball..wont work that smoothly all year as teams see film on him.. he does look like MJD out there..

The other 3 are top 30 WRs this week imo..

No need to risk it in week 1 and start Lamb. If I had him in Fantasy I would want to wait and see what type of volume he gets but what he’s got going in his favor is that he will be lined up in the slot.
