Mike McCarthy on the Gallup offensive interference call:

"Looking at it live, it looked like two guys hand-fighting. It was well executed. I was surprised there was a call there, either way. I'm obviously very disappointed in the call, particularly at that point in the game. I thought they let both teams play tonight, and you just don't usually see that particularly at a critical point in the game."

Maybe not in Green Bay, but we're certainly used to it here.

What hasn’t been discussed is how the refs missed the head slap to Goff on our interception which would have brought it back.

Maybe not in depth or with its own thread but it has been discussed. Dallas definitely got the benefit of no call.

Maybe for McCarthy, but not for me. I'm a Cowboy Fan who has been on the wrong side of both those calls so I'd call it consistency, much more then Irony, from where I sit.

They gave the Rams a timeout 2 seconds after the clock hit 0 on 4th down, so that cancels out because they ended up getting a TD.
But McVay was clearly running down the sidelines trying to call it. Probably couldnt hear him with his mask on:)

But then you have to bring up the timeout they gave the Rams when it should have been delay of game.

The key to what is being said here is a call like this being made when the game is on the line. There are calls that are missed throughout the game on both sides (and yes, they do affect the game), but when a call like this one is made with the game winding down, it makes the officials directly responsible for deciding the outcome of the game.

We've been on the wrong end of that far too many times IMO.

He never even motioned for a timeout until 2 seconds after the clock hit 0. He can run all he wants but you have to call it before it hits 0, not 2 seconds after. Plus he wasn't in a full sprint, looked like he ran and then walked like he was thinking about it and took off again and then walked again.

I’ll repeat what I said above . McVay was clearly running down the sideline calling timeout

I’d have to watch it again. But I thought he called it in time.

That interference could have gone either way. There was contact. And pushing off. If that was the Rams we would have wanted the call.

I don't disagree. But looking at the replay, if we were on the other end of it and it was a no-call, I would have understood it. Too much handfighting and grabbing by Ramsey to call it either way. And Ramsey clearly tried to sell the push-off ... and did so successfully.
