Offense needs to use 2 TE/ 2 RB set more and motion either one out to go into 11 personnel. This allows you to run and pass.
We are using the same Offense any ways so it should be a easy change. I think he plays. Maybe not the whole game.

There are so many holes on this team moving forward (LT, LB, S, DT, TE), it's starting to feel like a mini-rebuild is coming if we don't succeed this season.
Problem is by the time those spots are fixed, the others will have become a problem.

All spots cant be fully covered in today's NFL, and coaching has to overcome that.

We all know how that's gone around here.

Yeah you've got to strike while the iron is hot.

It's becoming obvious to me the prime window for this group was 2016-2018 when we still had a quality TE, young oline (plus Frederick), quality cheap players everywhere. Unfortunately, the coaching was subpar.

should have been a rebuild in the offseason. IT was the perfect time. Now they saddled the organization with a retread head coach who seemingly conceded to Jerry on Moore immediately, have a lousy defensive coordinator who has not really produced positive results in years.

Then they went and paid Cooper which was insane, signed a couple of old defensive players and are about to destroy the cap paying the quarterback who after 3 years starting in the sec and now his 5th year starting in the nfl essentially plays exactly the same.

They blew it. They had an opportunity while the chips were down and contracts were up at the end of last season to step back a bit....hire a good young coach and put together something new. Matt Rhule was perfect, not that he would coach for the Jones family I imagine.

now they are teetering on the Dave Campo years. Lose sunday and then at seattle and this thing is in big trouble. Especially after seeing how well cleveland's offense can play at times. I imagine the browns are coming in here 2-1 in two weeks. Lose that game and this organization is at a low they have not experienced since the hopeless campo years.

anyway from April to August the organization pumped sunshine about how talented they are because of the wr group. Now they have to actually play football and it looks pretty bleak.

speaking of Talent, Atlanta has ten number ones on offense and five number ones on defense. Seems they are the more talented team.

If the offense is without both starting tackles, they’re not going to be able to do much downfield or in the running game.
If this team can not overcome injuries, it was not very good to begin with. I guess a lot of people forget that when McCarthy’s pack won the SB in 2010, they had a ton of injuries.

Yes, we have a lot of key players injured. But the measure of a team isn’t how good they are with all their players, but how good they are with some missing.

True, but Garrett is no longer here, so what's gone before should, repeat should, have little bearing on the here and now. Of course it takes a while to revamp an offense, with no pre-season games the first few games will most likely be ones of slow change...
