And that 10.75 points per game includes a defensive TD.

I mean to be blunt the Bengals had GREAT defenses most of those years, a pretty good OLine and AJ Green (as well as a pretty good rushing attack), and still could not win a playoff game. Andy Dalton was by far the weak link on that team and everyone who watched AFC North football knew it. They knew that if you take away AJ Green by doubling him, put everyone else in man coverage, that Andy Dalton is not good enough to find the holes in the defense and beat you.

So what is your point to this thread after 1 game of the 2020 season when Dak is the starter?

So okay look at Dak in the playoffs:

2016

24 of 38 63.2% Comp % 302 Yards 3 TD's 1 INT QBR 103.2 Dallas LOST 34-31 to GB

2017

NO PLAYOFFS

2018

22 of 33 66.7% Comp. % 226 Yards 1 TD 1 INT QBR 83.6 Dallas WON 24-22 vs. SEA

20 of 32 62.5% Comp. % 266 Yards 1 TD QBR 99.2 Dallas LOST 30-22 to LAR

2019

NO PLAYOFFS

So what is the point? That Dak put up better individual numbers than Dalton yet Dallas still only has 1 playoff win and 3 playoff games in 4 years as Dak as the starter.

So again what is your point? Is posting Dalton's playoff stats somehow make a defense of Dak better knowing that Dalton is the backup QB?

The debate isn't whether Dak is better than Dalton but rather is Dak the right guy to be the multi-year big money contract QB for the Dallas Cowboys.

LOL. The best part about this is. The argument made is he doesnt win against GOOD TEAMS. So then why put him in if hes the same as Dak?

You have obviously missed all the posts calling for Dalton to start

No, I have not missed them. I do not think Dalton should start unless Dallas is sitting at 0-8 or Dak gets injured. This is Dak's ship to steer and he is either going to plot the right course or he is going hit an iceberg but he is the captain of the ship and it's on him what happens next.

I just do not see how slamming Dalton's playoff record has anything to do with defending Dak when Dak has a 1-2 playoff record in 4 years as the starter.

It showing people that Dalton is in no way any awnser. Even short term. He is a sub average QB that has been exposed every time he has been in the playoffs

He was signed as a 1-year upgrade to the back-up QB position and better insurance should Dak flounder or get hurt.

Ultimately what will happen is either Dak will lift this team deep into the playoffs this year or he will not get this team to that place.......Dalton plays no factor in that equation. If Dak does not lead this team deep into the playoffs then Dallas has to move on as there are no more excuses left as to why Dak can't lead this team.
