CB Anthony Brown to IR

Whats to like about him?

Guy is a 6th rounder that has stuck to his second contract. Has way outplayed his draft status. How does he look next to a Claiborne? Not a starter but a good 3/4 guy. Plays tough. In this league you need at least 4 CBs that can play. He is one of them. That good enough?

Man I was really optimistic, but after last weeks display and our injuries things are NOT looking good for us.

I said when the team was being anointed during the offseason that I need to see it on the field before I get my hopes up. What we see on paper seldom shows up on the field. After what I saw last Sunday against the Rams I’m not so sure the team hasn’t regressed from last year. Very few were picking the Rams to do much this year. The Cowboys were favored on the road by three points last week. We’re going to get a pretty good gauge tomorrow whether we have a shot to do anything this year. If Philly takes care of the Rams and we lose to Atlanta at home we’re in serious trouble!

I see Chido suck nearly every game. It’s embarrassing. The guy was a good rookie but has regressed every year. Terrible technique and soft as tissue.

Backups arent good enough to be starting. Starters are better than backups. Is this difficult for you?

I asked you why liked about Brown, you said you liked that he was a backup. Maybe you should have a few more drinks?

I think Brown is a good player, especially in covering the slot receivers. Lewis is not a drop-off but they cannot afford anymore injuries at CB.

I asked you what you liked about Brown, you said you liked that he was a backup. Never heard anyone brag about a backup.
