Was this a made opportunity to bring up another OT?
There are a number of bottom feeders on this roster they could have moved to bring up the tackle. You just don't put a starting corner on the sideline for three weeks to "make an opportunity".

Before last year's torn bicep injury that IR'ed him, brown was thought of as fairly durable.
He's decent 3rd slot CB and more physical and faster than Lewis but he doesn't make plays and he's not
a ball hawk. i'm still surprised the club re-signed him to that 3 year/15 million being so limited.

- Awuzie made an excellent INT play on an disruptive throw, give him kudos for that.
Plays on the ball is what need from these CBs. i think he can make plays when facing the QB and driving forward
remains to be seen if he can improve press & turn skills that's plagued in the past.

- Lewis is a give-take CB who should limited to the slot only and never on the outside if it can be helped.
He'll give you an INT because he tracks the ball that others like Awuzie and Brown don't .. or give us a sack,
but he will also be followed up by surrendering receptions and big plays against him too.
But he does have his fan-base mania here .

- Diggs came out of rams game with mixed views. he did give up 3 catches for 63 yrds. didn't come down with an tipped INT by one hand
instead of two but he gets a free pass by stuffing a 3rd and 2 play to force a punt.

Needless to say all of our CBs are gonna be really challenged the next two incoming teams vs ATL and Seattle ...

LOL...…….wow, this just gets better and better...……...

You LOVE Lewis, Brown is a good young player, and your BIG on Awuzie?

Who knew we had one of the secondaries in the NFL?

Hate to break it to you, but those guys are all JAGS at best. Awuzie and Lewis wont even be here after this year.
sooo...im not supposed to post MY opinion..
only yours.
got it.

Why does the draft position matter? Who cares where they are drafted?

You are either good or you aren't? Brown isn't good. Nothing good about brown. Nothing to LIKE about brown.

Another low standard Cowboys fan beaten down by years of mediocrity.
thought police.

maybe

I honestly don’t know hoe.....there are many weaker positions right now on this team than qb
You new here? LOL. I see so much ridiculousness on this site that I often logout within a few minutes unless I feel like being entertained.

I don’t see this as a big deal really. JLewis is back up off the injury list and frankly, I like him better than Brown. Had Lewis not sprained his ankle in camp, he might have beaten out Brown for the starting spot.

I’d rather have both but if I could only take 1 it’d be Lewis.

Diggs and Awuzie on the outside with Lewis in the slot is fine in the nickel. That’s what the team will play the majority of the time. In the Dime package, they’ll have Worley, Carr, or Robinson III.

I don’t see this as an issue, really.

Yes this is very true buddy, the ridiculousness here at times is quite entertaining.

Unfortunately I’m losing hope with ever passing day that this season will end in anything other than a high draft pick next year....the injuries are just becoming too much

I seriously think you have a screw loose. I said he was a quality rotation guy. A 6th rounder. That is a nice draft pick. Whose bragging? Try decaf.

Tbh the whole argument about back ups being lesser players is far from an absolute. How many times have we seen back ups come in and out perform starters? It happens all the time. Sometimes it's coaching issues or scheme changes or the player just gets his head on straight. I dont like losing Brown, but more than anything I think this creates a depth issue, not a big drop off in performance.
