Got beat like a drum all day. Why are people talking about Jaylon and not him? It wasnt clear Jaylon was in the wrong with his play. Lewis was CLEARLY getting torched

several on this board were swearingly convinced that it was Daryl Worley (No.28) that got spun and torched by Ridley for a TD

But it was Jourdan Lewis ( #No.26) ..their fan based hero... that got victimized !

Despite the hands for the occasional INT Lewis also gives up too many plays even for one that gets limited time.
He's too limited a player.
If Anthony Brown was in the game would that play been different ?

Short camp preparation, and Lewis missed most all of it. Another guy who is playing himself back up to speed.

I've never been that big a fan of Lewis, but fair is fair.

Not enough speed. A liability in the open field. I'll take the smarts and the hands on a short field, though. When he's gotten enough prep to be ready to play. Didn't look like that today.

Lewis got beat up today. I know he's your boy, but he did not look good. Worley is worse however, he was the one who got spun like a top and fell on that one Ridley TD.

Many media post game reports and comments keep verifying that it was Lewis,..not Worley,..that got spun for that Ridley TD.
i'm waiting for someone to post a bigger video shot that it was Lewis.

I'm all ears and eyes for the jaylon specific plays of terrible play. Not saying he didnt play bad but I didnt notice this bench worthy play.

What do you expect? He’s short and slow. You can’t expect a corner who runs 4.54 to be good unless the refs allow them to hold every play like Regis and Sherman. Plus, he’s 5’10 with a average vertical. He can only be successful with safety help.

Yeah I wouldn't make too much out of this... the Falcons historically have one of the best pass offenses in the league, if we are this bad next week against the Seahawks, that will be a bad sign.

Lewis got beat a couple times. It's not ideal to come off a high ankle sprain and have to cover those WRs...but whatever.

Think it's time to put Donovan Wilson out there...he has to be better than these other safeties right?

Like I said Lewis looked just as bad as awuzie. The only player I would keep in this secondary atm is Diggs. Throw everyone else in the trash. But I will say Richard killed lewis' confidence after his rookie year.

Joe Whitt Jr. is the ATLA secondary coach.
Richards is not in the NFL right now.
Ironically there was a report that was indicating that DC Mike Nolan wanted to keep Richard as secondary coach
