Already......

CeeDee Lamb looks like the best receiver on the team.

Trevon Diggs looks like the best corner on the team.

This draft looks amazing already.

If Robinson and Gallimore can make big contributions one day, this will be every bit the draft we thought it might be.

Looks like Reggie needs an injury to as much as dress.

Biadasz and Anae will make the most of their chances....if given them.

Not a knock on Cooper as much as a nod to Lamb, but in two years it's going to be difficult to make the case to continue to pay Cooper 20m a year.

Diggs is impressing me.

Remember when rookie corners were a huge liability?

Maybe they still are but he has had 2 very tough matchups and has been fine and should probably have 3 interceptions.

The trick play to Julio he got beat but that is understandable.

These Alabama players come well conditioned. All in part of the great conditioning coach that they had, who has since departed for Georgia. So we will see if they can keep up with that level of conditioning there. These guys can play the entire 60 with almost the same intensity.

Another tough one this week for diggs. Lockett and/or Metcalf are a handful

Let Diggs deal with Lockette, and put Chido and a safety on Metcalf.

Love that Metcalf kid. He's fun to watch.

Cowboys aren't letting Diggs stay on one receiver. They have confidence in all their secondary. I saw Diggs defending everyone from Haydon Hurst to Julio to Gage....I think even Ridley if I'm not mistaken.

Make sure he has help.......if it's me, I'm playing 5-6 DBs most of the game. If Wilson gets in a groove with the long-ball, we have zero chance.

I'll take Cooper/Gallup over Lamb.

I love CeeDee but he doesn't look as good as Amari so far. I haven't even seen what he can do against a double on the pro level yet. Amari still holds the title.

Diggs is our best corner though.

Lamb will be one of the leagues best by year 3. Gallup is on his way too. That dude is a playmaker.

Lamb is having a hell of a time in the slot...let's not go putting him in Canton just yet. Amari and MG are damn good.

I don't know..

we have to realize the presence and production of Amari..

pulls a tremendous amount of pressure off #13 and #88 which allows them single coverages to be more dynamic.

And although little has been said, Schultz had his best game as a Cowboy with a TD and moving the chains for at least 4 1st down conversions I counted in the highlights.

This is more than expected from him and after losing Jarwin..a big relief for Dak who needs a short zone receiver when he has to get rid of the ball.

Amari makes these parts all more effective.

The money maybe an issue down the road but it's just impossible to know how that plays out.

What I want to see from Amari is if he has gotten off his back the issues of not playing well on away games. And staying healthy.

That's all that worries me. Amari showed a lot of loyalty to the team and Dak by staying and taking less money than Washington was ready to fork over.

If you want somebody to return money back from their deal, talk to Crawford.

He owes us.

Which is why most deals load up front and not on the back end. I'd be shocked if he makes anywhere near that in a couple years based on his current deal.

Edit: Just looked and his deal is exactly the same amount each year. What a weird way to structure a WR. Oh well.

My favorite things so far:

Lamb. If WRs take a couple years to fully mature, we're probably looking at the best in the game at some point. He looks that good already.

Diggs: He has made some great plays, though he's been unable to hold onto a couple picks. He's also bitten hard on some double moves like I expected. He's way ahead of the curve though.

Joe Thomas: Hands down our best backer and possibly our best defender. He doesn't waste steps and he's incredibly decisive. In other words he's the anti Jaylon.

Dak: Has exceeded all expectations so far.

Zeke: He's I'm mid-season form. He's solidified himself as a power back. He's no longer a home run guy, but he's doesn't need to be. Still a top-3 back.

Gallup: Just throw him the damn ball. He's always open.

Looney: Whatever issues the line has had, this guy has been solid.

Zeurlein: Money. Period. It's nice to not worry about kicks.
