I didn't. Troy was the man. 1st overall draft pick. Troy was on every magazine and pictures when one referred to the 90s Cowboys, especially since he earned it on the field. Troy was the captain and leader both on and off the field.
Emmitt was a better RB than Troy was a QB. Not taking away from Troy, he was great, but Emmitt was the fun one to watch.

Exactly. There were to become the new real triplets. I'm not bitter...but I do wonder what might have been. Tony's last drive ever was a clue.
We did pretty good in 2016 without Tony. I was a big fan of his, but wasn't butt hurt when Dak took over. It was just a natural progression.

This is a false statement
Oh, yeah???

How quickly you forgot how lost the team looked inside the Falcons 5 yard line for 2 plays that Dak was on the sidelines for a concussion protocol checkup and Andy Dalton took over. The offense did diddly squat even with Zeke out there! It took for Dak to come back out get out there for the offense to score.

How quickly you forget that!!!

Well said.

I still find it shocking how many people not only fell for this hoopla, but won't let the though go. Meanwhile, Belly keeps drafting RB's.

The value in a RB is the guy who can get something out of nothing. It's when the chips are down and there's nowhere to go, but the guy still gets 2-3 yards. That's the guy you want on your super bowl teams. That's why a guy like Blount, who did nothing else at a high level, keeps winning super bowls. Meanwhile, the flashy types(Barkley, anyone?) keep filling the highlight reels and making fans slobber.
Making something out of nothing perfectly describes Zeke.
Even when the OL struggled in 2018 he was still consistently productive.
He's become an underrated pass catcher, too, BTW.

He’s not worth the money in my book, but only because of the position he plays. He’s a great all-around back, though.
He’s the only one that is worth the money right now, and he can be counted on as a 3down back

Way too many examples of players getting paid and failing to produce on this roster...

That rollout with Dalton was ugly.

That’s a different problem.

I've been critical. He has definitely come into seasons out of shape. He looked like he had lost a step. But he is easily the best player on this team. He is a good to great runner, a pretty good pass catcher, a great blocker and helps to keep the team organized on the field. He is worth the money.

You maybe wanna take that back, hoss?

Two things can be equally true:

1. He’s a good back all around back

2. He’s not nearly as good as some of y’all want him to be.

He's awful & even worse vs Seattle. Wasted $90 million. Jerry is crunching his teeth as well as the fans.
