Count me as fooled. I wanted Urban Meyer but didn’t hate MM. I saw it as a big improvement. I never liked the Nolan hire but thought Edwards would help there.

I will also say I blame Jerry’s country club culture and the players more.

I knew our defense would be an issue. Very questionable personnel decisions + proven loser at DC = bad. But I thought the offense would compensate and we would be an easy division winner.

Had no idea they would be this bad though. And certainly didn't expect them to quit.

I’m one to admit when I was wrong and I must admit I thought we had a real shot this year but damn this is a real **** show. Injuries are one thing that we can’t control but McCarthy and his staff has been a huge disappointment. I was wrong!

The Atlanta game was the eye opener for me in a negative way. I was completely out on this team after the 1st half of the Cleveland game.

The Cowboys were 8-8 last year and the defensive roster got worse.

Not sure why anyone was thinking Super Bowl contender unless they thought JG was the entire problem and MM was the answer. Neither were true.

Nope win a bad division and done in 1st round was absolute best outcome before the season. Believe I said 6 to 8 wins. Probably win one more and end up with three.

I wanted Urban Meyer with a passion....and I HATE Ohio State and their cheating program and WT fans....there, I said it. However, too many friends have told me what a mistake Jerry made signing the Conman. They ALL say the same thing. that everything was Aaron Rodgers and MM was just along for the ride....Packer fans couldn't wait for him to get canned.

It's been said by many on these boards that as long as JJ is running the show it matters little who the HC is. MM took the job for the $, I don't think a serious person who wants to really build something would come here as long as JJ is the Owner/Pres/GM.

Not I, even fully healthy, I thought we were a 6 or 8 win team. I've been saying fir years, we have a lot of big names because of the notarity that comes with being a Cowboy, but we don't have good players.

MM isn’t a good coach. I know we’re a few weeks into his first season, but good coaches can win without Aaron Rodgers and Dak Prescott or at least compete. Dude has managed 13 points. I’d love Lincoln Riley in the off-season

I thought we were doomed when both starting tackles were out, but Dak played out of his mind and he had the body to take the hits and he's the toughest guy on the team hands down. Most of the team appears to be pretty soft and my goodness they have forgotten how to tackle.
