No head coach could do anything with the roster we have right now

Look at New England Bill B is the best coach in football and sitting at 2-4 and just got their face mushed in

if this team were fully healthy im sure we would be either 3-4 or 4-3

Count me as fooled. I wanted Urban Meyer but didn’t hate MM. I saw it as a big improvement. I never liked the Nolan hire but thought Edwards would help there.

I will also say I blame Jerry’s country club culture and the players more.

I agree with the desire to hire Urban Meyer....wow, nice poetic tone to it.. If JJ would have hired Meyer and get out of his way, there would be a plan in progress and i am willing to wait a few years for it to prosper. Did not expect MM era to turn out like this so quick. With SJ, JJ and MM......This has turned out to be Dumb, Dumber and Dummy.....

I can't say I've watched every Green Bay game for the past decade. But I always got the feeling that McCarthy was something for the players to overcome. He won one Super Bowl with Aaron Rogers, from a 6 seed. That's about the minimum you can do with a player like that.

I’m one to admit when I was wrong and I must admit I thought we had a real shot this year but damn this is a real **** show. Injuries are one thing that we can’t control but McCarthy and his staff has been a huge disappointment. I was wrong!

I remember them talking up Jaylon in camp. Thinking that his obvious physical limitations of last year had healed up.

Good times.

Never believe camp hype. I shoulda known better.

I knew the defense had problems at DT and S. Injuries at CB and LB gutted them too. Add to that just straight out incompetence and loafing. No way would I predict such incredible awfulness.

Offense has a lot. Backup oline better than expected. But there's only so deep you can be. Lamb, Wilson, and Brown have all exceeded expectations. Bell too. Schultz too, though my expectations there were borderline cut for him.

Zeke is my biggest disappointment on offense. He's running ok, but his head ain't right.

Pollard has been a big disappointment too. I expected much more out of him.

Dalton disappointed last week, but I'll cut him some slack for needing snaps.

Yeah, I thought we had a chance, but this is beyond disappointing. Coaching has got to show some leadership and innovation. So far, all I've seen is rhetoric.

Something strange is going on here.
The entire team has decided to go the way of the Ronin.
I can't wrap my head around a team turning on a coach so quickly. And he is a Superbowl winner. Something none of these guys have come close to sniffing.

Wasn't fooled. Said MM would need 2-3 years to fix JG's mess.

Also, MM wasn't my first pick but questioned if he'd be given proper authority. It appears he hasn't been. So it's once again on the Jones's

Oh heck yeah! I was way wrong too, about a good many things.

I thought that this was a double-digit win team (granted I said barring injury).

I also thought Dontari Poe still wanted to play football.

I figured the defense would struggle, but not this record-setting mess we're seeing. I thought the defensive line play would have been good, not this.

And I expected more competent coaching all around.

When you look at our departures and our aquisitions i didnt think we would be better than 2019. Rather worse. Maybe 7-9.

But i didnt think we could be that bad.

yeah I should have done my home work also, McCarthy is not a premier coach A. Rodgers is a future HOF QB and mike rode his coat tails until Rodgers kicked mike off

THIS!
I didn't expect us to get to the Super Bowl but I did expect a very competitive & disciplined team. I also wanted Urban Meyer but realized he was just too head strong for JJ. I also didn't like the Nolan hire, it made no sense to me. What made even less sense was keeping the boy wonder, Kellen Moore.
All that said we need to keep things in perspective. That vaunted "best in the NFL" offensive line peaked 3 years ago, what we have now is nowhere close to that o-line. The defense was never all that good & losing B. Jones, our best pass rusher last year, the LB corp being a mess, and an interior line that is as soft as a baby's belly and this is what we get. What we have on the field now in no way resembles what we had last year, or prior years.

We never had a shot this year. I did expect a 7-9 season with our starters so after they went down this result is not too far off.
