I don't really love going CB in the first, but I could live with this I think.

TDN has their mock updated to reflect the current drafting spots - so, Dallas is at 8.
Hmm, TDN has Farley listed at 13, but that's kind of semantics. I guess I'd be curious to see who all is gone beyond the 4 you mentioned.

8 is a horrible spot in this draft for Dallas, b/c I think that's way too early for Farley or Surtain, and the best value there is honestly WR if Parsons is gone. If you can't move out of that position, I think you have to go OL. I'd rather "reach" for Humphrey or Davis than a corner. You could also pretty easily talk me into taking a WR - Waddle in particular - especially if they can trade Amari.

If I had the Premium, I probably would've traded out of that spot. And, the other funny thing is their 2021 Prospect Ranking Section isn't matching up with the draft. So, it seems likes to different people created the respective prospect lists.

I could live with this but I suspect some of these guys are going to go higher than TDN projections. I think Rumph will go higher than the 7th for example.

I get what you are saying about the spot, but man oh man with the talent problems on D and potential OT issues, if you took another WR in the first round, that's really hard to get behind. But I get the point the WR might be the best player on the board. That would really suck, frankly.

I might go Rousseau if he is there at 8. Not a perfect pick, but he has a chance to develop into an elite DE. I could live with one of the CB's, Sustain would he my preference in that case. However, I would probably favor Rousseau or Leatherwood

Im not that high on the WR's as I was last year after Chase. I dont know if I see either of the Bama guys being top 10 caliber

Not thrilled that he's an opt-out but Farley is a stud. Diggs and Farley at the corners is a good start toward a big, physical defense. You build back to front these days.

Waddle is every bit as good as Ruggs, and I don't think there's much of a gap between Smith and Jeudy.

I don't particularly like Waddle as a top-10, so you'd be reaching a few spots getting him at 8. But he makes an impact day 1, and there aren't a lot of players in this draft, at that spot, who you know are going to do that.

I like him as a player but don't know how I feel about a WR in the top-10. Maybe the injury pushes him down.

So, with the Griffen Trade, Dallas will have either 2 6th's OR 2 5th's.
