Lewis doesn’t even look like the same player. Gets beat so much he holds on every play.

It’s terrible how bad he is. Not sure if it’s his ankle or just checked out.

He is consistently beat on out routes all day. Should’ve shipped him back home to Detroit as well

It seems pretty obvious they are dumping the Veteran players on short contracts because these are most likely the guys who leaked the info to the media about how these coaches have no clue what they are doing.
No player with a secure long term contract is doing that. Plus the more teams you have been on the more you probably realize this current regime is clueless.

They want the young players who don't know any better.
cause clearly poe and worely are the pillars of truth and honor.

I think they realize they still have to field a team too. We can’t ship everyone off or we won’t have enough players.

I don't see it being fixed in terms of the defense being any good, but we can at least do the sensible thing and cut out the deadwood.

If anything makes a positive difference, it will be getting LVE, Lee, Chido, and Gregory going.

The truly big deal will be cutting/benching Jaylon.

They can't afford to cut Jaylon at this point. But they can't afford NOT to bench him.

because of what they did...publicly.
Huh? My point is if you're trying to trade them, why make it public that you will release them if they can't be traded? They must think other teams are willing to trade instead of taking a chance on the waiver wire.

hopefully this is indicative of the fact the front office is supporting the coaches and not the players as they usually do. maybe, the heretofore unutterable word, accountability, is finally being allowed.

If that's true, guys like Jaylon Smith and Crawford will be benched. Let's see if that happens.

It's easy to blame everything on the easily cuttable new guys.

Yeah I would not lump them together. Worley has given us effort. Poe was just stealing money.
LOL.. both players serving a better role on another franchise this season.
This team has become a career roadblock for talent.

if they are the source of the leaks....which was very public and i'm sure a source of embarassment for the f/o that brought them in....i could certainly see why the team made this public.
they probably prefer to cut them.....let them twist in the wind for awhile.

Most of them have contracts that make them unmovable.
I'm not a huge DLaw fan but I do think this scheme is killing him. He clearly looks uncomfortable pre snap standing up. He is a 43 end, and that is not what Nolan is trying to do.

They made such a thing of continuity on offense, but did the exact opposite on defense. Not that we didnt need change....just maybe not this dramatically.

I was all into the multiple look thing since we were so predictable before....but this doesnt appear to be that to me....its a pure 34 type of look for our 43 ends.
