How'd we think McCoy and Poe would be good here after how poor they performed last year together in Carolina?!

1.I agree with you on Crawford
2. IMO why there's no talk about Crawford is because they love him and he probably isn't a problem child in the locker room. Even though his play on the field is no where near the level of play that got him that deal off potential.
3. His cap hit won't be reduced if cut and I doubt no one wants to take on his remaining base in a trade.

They're not saving money cutting Poe and Worley this year either. That’s not what the moves are about. They’re trying to send a message to the team, while an even bigger waste of space and money is still here.

Thats the problem with this fanbase, “at least they tried”. This has been a routine thing the last few years, going cheap in FA and this is the result. FYI I was never on the Griffen train.
Yeah you are in the minority....all offseason people were hyped because we finally got some DTs....they did not go cheap with McCoy, Poe and Griffey. If the Cowboys failed it was going after guys who didn’t fit the scheme. Nobody considered those moves bad.

This is a poor message then...they basically are just getting rid of the guys who were the worst on the team. Realistically you can’t cut a Jaylen but a bigger message would’ve been to cut someone like a Crawford.

I agree. But they got this man crush on Crawford but I doubt they've cared for Poe post signing and with his play not up to par it makes it easy to move on from him. Worley was a depth signing that showed he couldn't handle too many snaps and was in Nolan Carroll territory in terms of corner play.

This team has favorites and it shows even if the player sucks.

Exactly. It’s east to try to blame everything on the new guys. But we know it’s not all on them.

What does a message send to this current roster?
Jimmy sent messages to a pro bowl roster.

This happens all the time. Nobody was trading for that crap lol. Cowboys know it too. Who in the hell was trading for the worst players on the worst defense in the league?

Is there any reason to announce they are going to be released? Any at all?
