Somebody has to ask the question..whether you like him or don't. Why in the hell would he not want to leave?? I mean this team is a dumpster fire. If I were him I would be off like a prom dress. Like panties on prom night.
Out like zeke in a beauty contest.
He can't win anything here.
Am I wrong?

Because Dak has shown money means more to him than winning and playing in Dallas is the best thing for his career.

A team like Pittsburgh, Colts, or Patriots should offer the Cowboys a pick for Dak because they can provide a good team for him.

Dallas ceiling will be mediocre over the next few years and that's with or without Dak.

The only thing that might send us to a 10 win season is if somehow we play a normal level of defense and the Oline stays healthy.

Out like Zeke after 90 million.

I agree with ya. If I were Dak, I would have a serious one on one with myself and really think about it. There are some other teams that will be in need of a QB after this season. All depends on how he heels. Which, if seeing the way he carries himself for the past 5 years, he should be good.

Shown $$$ means more to him? Because he felt he deserved more than Wentz and Goff? Because Jerry and Stephen took care of others BEFORE him? How did he show that?

I mean yea, he could bolt to the other teams that are just winners, like the Jets, Dolphins, Bills, Cardinals, Bengals, Browns, Vikings, Bears, and on and on and on and on. Or, damn, head over to the great Pats. Look at that roster. Billy has them loaded for another run. They are loaded with offensive weapons because we all know Billy is a genius and is all knowing.

Look at the pats and look at the Bucs. Any questions? Og damn, I completely forgot, teh Bucs have that NFL guru Bruce Arians running things.

Really?

He's been offered deals better than those guys but he's trying to squeeze every drop out of the team.

He reportedly went into the offseason and made a pact with Zeke and Amari that they would all 3 do their best to get every penny.

you’re wasting your breath. If it was all about money with him he would’ve held out while making a million dollars

I havent seen that reported anywhere. But if you can prove that. Id love to see it. All I have seen Dak say about money is that he doesnt deserve to be the highest paid QB in the NFL lol. And that was on live tv. But sure.

And how will they be mediocre without Dak? You've said countless times if we draft a QB we are championship bound. How would we be mediocre if we let go of him and draft Trevor Lawrence? I mean you guaranteed a Superbowl if we draft him. How many years is a few? 3, 4? You put your foot in your mouth a lot.

Dak is the undisputed leader of this team. And thats evidenced by their play since he went down. You can admit it or not I really dont care anymore. The truth hurts.

I think Dak is suffering from the same apathy that Garrett instilled in the rest of the team.
I don't think Dak is the answer in Dallas, and I believe that he has become a distraction that is detrimental to the team. There is a group of players and fans alike who think Dak getting a long term deal is something that the Cowboys should adjust their performance to ensure. We saw that plainly as the Cowboys ignored Andy Dalton laying on the field after getting knocked out on a cheap shot.
Despite Dak's failures to lead the team when the season was on the line, it seems clear that his fan club sees more than his ability as a reason for him to get paid.
It's as if a certain group meant to ensure that Dalton didn't appear to do as well or better than Dak.

easy....best wr group in the nfl, very good RB group, OL will be better with the young guys devloping and an assumed FA and draft pick to help.

Plus- given the needs at defense and the fact that we are going to be picking fairly high, i am going to assume this team has more talent next year than this year so in a better spot to win.

Why wouldnt he want to come back with all of that, plus 35+MM a year, plus arguably one of if not the most prestigious position on any team in all of major sports?

Because he has two pro bowl tackles about to come back(although their health is a question mark), a top 3 WR trio, and an offense that will let him put up massive numbers.

He needs to rebuild his stock and show he is fully healthy, what better place than dallas on a 1 yr deal?

Would a team go all in on dak right now if he hit the open market? I'm not too sure. How many teams are desperate for a qb, that don't have a young guy, or aren't in line to get one this draft? Chicago? New England? Anyone else? Could they rather go for a ryan or darnold for half the price without the injury concerns? I'm not really sure.

Because playing QB for the Dallas Cowboys is probably the most lucrative position in sports. Not to mention when healthy this is a spectacular offense

Good for him..

I'm interested in Superbowls.

Right now with Dak we can't even beat a good team and him making more money certainly doesn't help that because as you like to tell me it's a team sport.

Hate to say it but this Ol is not what has been sold to you. Smith is no longer reliable. Collins we don't even know still what really happened. Still not seeing anything that shows promise from the youngsters.
