We are not going anywhere without Dak and no offensive line. After getting throttled by the Commanders, I expected us to play the young guys and regroup next season.

Then we traded Griffen for a pick, and I’m thinking “great, Jerry sees the value in playing the young guys, having a bad record and getting good draft picks.”

Next I hear Poe and Worley will be traded or cut, and I’m thinking “Jerry has seen that these guys suck, is cutting his losses, moving on, and playing the young guys”. I’m thinking good deal, we won’t get anything for them, but if so, good for Jerry”.

Next I hear we may be looking to trade for Fitzpatrick? Why in the hell would we do that? Surely it’s just “click bait”.

Play DiNucci, see what you have in him and take your lumps. If he starts a Dak streak, so be it. But where are we going in the playoffs without an OL or DL?

It only makes sense to trade for a player you plan on keeping longer term, and preferably a position of need. DL. Corner. Safety. OT.

We weren't going anywhere with Dak either. That defense was nothing for a leaking sieve. Zeke can't hold onto the ball any longer. DL can't rush any longer. Lots of Jerry's cash down the drain.
We should trade them all, if we can, for whatever picks we could fetch.

The Plan going forward is to win the NFC east

A win sunday night puts us back in first.....

may not be the popular answer but if they dont have these goals then dont bother showing up Sunday (they kinda havent the past 2 games)

Threads and posts have been all over the place this season. And especially since Dak got injured.
Speculation is running rampant more than usual.

The only thing we can really do is sit back and watch the games, hope for the best, or worse, depending ones point of view. Whatever happens will happen and I for one am not going to waste any brain cells over all the what if’s and what should have or could have been or will be.

There will be plenty of time after the season for each of us to evaluate and form our own opinions. Not not they matter. And between now and then it will be that same old stuff, I guess some of it will be entertaining though.
I will continue to skip a lot of the crap as I have been. Because I know I will make some not so good comments. :lmao:but will make some good ones as well. :D

I think they will stay the course on trying for the East but in reality knowing this year is going to be another bad one.

Starting QB is out for the year. Both bookend tackles are out for the year.
Defense is a hot mess on every phase and between coaching and personnel.

I think if a player comes up in trade talks that could help the team/cost is reasonable and could be a long term fixture they'll look at it(IE Q. Williams) but I doubt they'll be aggressive at the TDL.
Think they want to see how the players/coaches gel or fall apart in the next 9 games.

Hopefully, younger guys like Anae and others get some decent snaps to end the year too to see what they got.

Dak logic....101
Ok get Dak another stud offline with our picks as the last batch he had he only managed 1 playoff win.
Then pay him 35+ million a year for at least 5 years.
Now while you're doing all the above find a way to build a defense without any cap or picks as you have invested the good ones for the OFFLINE Dak Poo needs.
Dak-Logic only for the football insane!

Plan going forward.

Cheer for the Jets..

Hope the Cowboys lose every game..

Draft Trevor Lawrence..

Profit..

there are several other teams we need to cheer for as well.
So what if we do end up with the 1st pick overall. Then Lawrence decides to stay in college. :muttley:

This headline suggests there was a plan that got it this far?

"Hey boss, we've got a plan".

"No, don't tell me, I want it to be a surprise".

"Thank God he didn't want to know".

"Yeah, but what IS the plan?"

"Whatever it turns out to be, that was the plan".

"Stevie Ray Nicks Jones, you are a genius. That way we at least show everyone we know how to plan".

behind this line he'll be toast

burnt toast

that dude is delusional, Cowboys don't want Lawerence anyways, they would trade that pick for a ransom of picks.

And that should be what he does. If they’re not willing to pay Dak the money he deserves after developing into a top 5 QB, then what would make them want to pay Lawrence after 5 years of developing. Why would Lawrence or any other highly rated QB want to play here knowing your not going to get justly compensated for your ability. Anyone would be stupid not to hold out and renter the draft the following year!

Yeah, but if we trade for Fitzy we can win 6 games and won't have to put up w/ that top 5 draft pick.

you're gonna be so disappointed the only way that happens is if they fear because of the injury Dak wont be the same. I dont think the cowboys can lose enough to get Trevor anyway well luck into a couple more wins. Trevor may see the Jets with worse record and stay in college anyway.
