Funny thing is this board as a collective was gung-ho for most of those signings.

It just goes to show you how difficult it is to build a successful team not just for the short-haul, but for the long-haul too.

I think with me, I was stoked with the IDL signings because it was the Joneses making a decent effort to address the position. They hadn't done that in years and it's been a problem for awhile.

Unfortunately you got a guy that's hurt and a guy who just isn't good. Miss.

Given the state of the season I’m glad this is happening. I think this is more telling evidence that the FO doesn’t think we are likely to win this crappy division even though we are very much in it mathematically. Lets just start doing what needs to be done and get some semblance of a plan together.

This happens every year seems like...the cheap veteran FA signings flop hard. Uhh, think it's time for a new strategy regarding FAs or some new FO people.

And the expensive ones don’t. The Thomas debacle in Baltimore. Quinn has a whopping 1 sack in Chicago. Fans on saints radio sound like a mob at the witch trials saying M Jenkins is a team cancer who has split their locker room. Remember Ferguson, B Carr the gaurd we got from Green Bay we spent 2 years paying off dead money. Simple truth, only about 1 in 5 work out or meet fan expectations, even the high end ones. If they did Washington would have won around 5 SBS THE LAST 10 years!
