This is the problem with playing in the FA market. Maybe 20% of the time it works out and that's what people notice. They forget the other 80% of the time when it doesn't.

30? He’s being kind. Interior defenders need to be big and even have some fat if necessary to maintain their bulk but you can’t be “soft” fat.

How is one of the best ways to lose or maintain weight? Jogging/running/swimming, each of which requires use of your legs. Poe had quad surgery in November of 2019, can't run or jog or swim after that for a while. Very hard for a big man like that to not gain weight while rehabbing. Besides, didn't we get him because so many here said we needed the "big guy" in the middle? Some of them did note he had to have ability, not just size, but many just said "we need a big fat guy in the middle of the line".

You know what they say "Nothing makes somebody angrier than to screw up and get caught at it."

Jerry, you took a aging player coming off major surgery that was cut/not resigned by a team. You screwed up. And if it was one of very few of those type of moves you made, I'd give you a pass, every team has done that at some time. But you've made a dozen of them at least in the last five years.

Regarding fans, winning was never promised or contractually agreed to. With Poe, apparently there was nothing in his contract about his weight,so he was able to retain his right to be a fat ***. Again, buyer beware ...

Not surprising to see this type of question come from BSPN. They're always looking for their next potential scandal. They asked specifically if this was related to him kneeling, and that's ridiculous. Anybody with a set of eyes could see the guy gave zero effort, got pushed around the field, and didn't care. You can easily check his stats and see that he did nothing. And he was a big part of the league's worst defense. There's reason enough to cut him right there.

We really need this team and FO to come apart at the seams. The only way we see a change after 25 years.
Some of you will call me crazy, but just band aid solutions will not work. Jerry & the Cowboys are broken at the core.
