nope jaylon is #1

Nah Elliott.

Smith didn't ask/demand that contract. Jerry stupidly gave it to him. Elliott threatened to not show up and play and Jerry caved. Smith isn't very good but it's not like he should have been like, "Nah, I am not that good, I won't take your money.............."

Jerry stupidly gave Zeke that money as well. He didnt have to pay him.

Hating Zeke more than Jaylon is hilarious. One is still an above average player, while the other shouldnt even be in the NFL

Can you elaborate or are you just ranting?

I’ll elaborate, @aria ... He’s overpaid, but you can’t blame the player for that, that’s on Jerry.

He’s just not very good. Go ahead and blame the offensive line if you want, but he hasn’t been very good since his second season. He has no breakaway speed, doesn’t break tackles, sometimes it feels like he’s running through mud.

But neither of those things are reasons to dislike him. The reason I dislike him is that he just doesn’t seem to care. There’s no emotion, no fire, no anything. He just seems to be cashing a check.

Zeke is far, far from what’s wrong with this team. But he’s a part of the broken culture and I hope they can part ways with him sooner rather than later.

Agreed. Although he is super lucky Lane Johnson wasn't playing

Maybe.

Lane Johnson hasn't been the same guy for about a year now. Injuries - and maybe a lack of PED's - are taking a toll.

Pretty sure he had a sack last week as well. I've given Dlaw plenty of hell. I also give credit where it's due.

The point is DLaw had a few good moments this season, but he's paid to play like a top nfl pass rusher. DLaw plays hard when the mood strikes him (ie, the opposite of Demarcus Ware).

Lane isn't in his prime anymore but at the same time it's not a coincidence that by far D-laws 2 best games this year have been against low level backups

Yes but Zeke demanded it by holding out. You want to hold out for elite money? Then play like an elite player. Elliott has not done that. Arguably the most overrated and overpaid player on the Cowboys right now.

Oh I don't deny that. In fact, it's shocking at how many backup linemen he HASN'T beaten recently. But in his defense, I think he's gotten healthier and picked up his level if play the past few weeks.
