I challenge anybody to watch Zeke in 2016 vs today.
If I didn't know better I'd swear it was a different person.
You cannot deny your own eyes.
There were warning signs everywhere with this guy, yet Jerry plowed ahead as usual.
Now we'll be paying till the end of NEXT season.
We are now paying a JAG for 2 more years, along with jaylon.

Aikman wasn't a particularly charming guy either. Am I super wrong for never liking him?

He would not make my list. Aikman was a little bit vanilla but I don't think he was a terrible guy. I mean, I guess it depends on how you measure this thing. He was highly motivated, I don't really see that as a negative thing. Aikman drove this team to a great extent, in the early 90s. You don't have him, you probably don't have three championships.

DLaw has been playing his arse off all year. People ignored the fact that he got his knee rolled up in the Rams game and played 3-4 games on one leg. Of course had he shut it down and sat out those games the same people claiming he sucks would have been killing him for taking the money but not suiting up. You can't win once people get a narrative stuck in their heads. Collinsworth said it a half dozen times tonight.. when he watched tape Lawrence's hustle and effort jumped off the tape.. But folks will keep up the "he got paid and no longer cares" noise. To which I say, whatever..

Of course, the other side of that story is that if you demand top money to play, then expectations are great and you deal with that, as a player. You want a fan base to give slack, it helps to give a bit of a hometown discount a lot of times. You don't do that, you don't get slack and that's understood. That's what Lawrence did and so, he deserves all he gets. It's always something there. It's a shoulder that he waits on or an ankle or whatever it is. Bottom line, you gotta show up in games and you gotta win.

Funny to me that the most unlikeable Cowboys I've ever seen were drafted so closely.
