he looks pretty good, but has time to throw. he can run and is pretty big guy.
I think if he has a good day and team mates play good they can score some td's for a change.

Nice video, DD52.

Garrett Gilbert definitely has improved his skill since his early college years. I had almost forgotten about him since he's now 29 years old. I feel very comfortable with Gilbert at QB, instead of Ben DiNucci or Cooper Rush. Gilbert just might surprise us today if he comes out focused and determined.

I saw a vid of interview with him and he seems pretty smart, focuses on being prepared as he can be. He also looks young for his age.
This occured before he was named starter.
He said he was familiar with most offenses, they just were called different things.

like dinucci,(cold windy in philly) he has a rough game for his first game starting with the steelers, but unlike nucci, he is home in a dome.
I think dallas will score couple of tds few fgs.

An 18 minute highlight reel of a QB playing in a league that shut down operation mid-season? Was every play a highlight for this dude?

He's big and runs well enough to pick up an occasional first down. He looks like he climbs in the pocket pretty well. He certainly has command of the offense he was running. On the downside, he's going to look a heck of a lot slower running the ball in the NFL. He isn't going to see many pockets to climb up into today. And, while I acknowledge the fact that many of you are better at evaluating individual play, he seems to throw off his back foot a lot. His arm seems relatively strong and he depends on that. He uses body twist without stepping into the pass. That worked in the AAF but won't look the same at this level.

He still looks a lot more promising that DiNucci did last week.

Gilbert is no DiNucci, but I feel a little better starting CeeDee this week. Garrett was accurate on crossing routes, and didn't hesitate throwing the deep ball. The pass protection will get him blasted a time or two, so we'll see what dude is made of.

Those first 3 plays would all have been sacks if he was playing the Eagles defense last week.
