It was actually much worse than the lame call on Smith... Watt actually pulled down on the facemask... And the call against Vanderesch... The guy on the group was pushing his facemask to he tried to stop him by pushing is arm off of him and then he get called? BS

Agreed! The refs were rubbish, but hey, It's Corrente. We should've known we'd have an even harder challenge. He's the same twister who called Gallup for the pushoff in week 1.

I see the losers are celebrating the loss. Oh, that's right. One more draft pick shall set us free. :muttley:

Suckers. Give Jerry the first 10 picks and he'll screw it up. Take every win you can get.

Yes, and the rest of the opponents shouldn't be as hard as the Steelers. I think we've found something, and we've found a defence.

i know it doesnt feel like it but go back all the way to the 2nd half of the Washington game and you can see the defense has played better , the Offense is trying to find anything since Dalton got hurt..so this starting gaining traction and well win or lose i like the way we have played the last 9 qtrs..
that goes for coaching as well..all those wantign them all fired really needs to see what they have had to deal with this season..they are making the right moves and the correct adjustments , adding players trying different things , its al you can ask wit this unit

Oh indeed! I can definitely see the improvement. I hope that the defence getting better. The coaches have been making good adjustments. Just need to be a bit more courageous. That decision to kick the FG instead of go for it was, imo, one of the things that sunk us. Granted, the refs were atrocious again, but, when you're the underdog, you go for it there.

Hey, I have an idea. Let's make the rest of the season about you.
Sure, sounds good. What a strange reply.

anyway, Zeke played well for someone that was injured. Both RBs did really.
Wondering how things would have been different if the Goodwin return wasn't penalized. Feels like the defense is getting there 8 weeks in. It's still undisciplined, but at least now there isn't that historically awful aspect to it where they were giving up 33 a game.

You kick 4 field goals you are at the mercy of losing games to questionable calls. Boohoo.

That was a shame! So close to a win. Great game by Gilbert, Gallimore, and Crawford. Jaylon Smith needs to be cut. MM has no balls. What'd I miss?
Cowboys played an impressive, competitive game and nearly won it against an undefeated Steeler team. And all of that with a team that is still crippled with multiple injuries plus a 4th string QB. I was impressed with their effort.
I'm not going to criticize McCarthy for not going for it on 4th down with a patchwork OL and missing both starting OT's. I think he was hoping his defense that had played pretty well all day would hold up.......it didn't. But there was no guarantee that his patchwork OL would grant any better results and then everybody would've been slamming him for not taking the FG when he had the chance.
