You kick 4 field goals you are at the mercy of losing games to questionable calls. Boohoo.

Cowboys played an impressive, competitive game and nearly won it against an undefeated Steeler team. And all of that with a team that is still crippled with multiple injuries plus a 4th string QB. I was impressed with their effort. I'm not going to criticize McCarthy for not going for it on 4th down with a patchwork OL and missing both starting OT's. I think he was hoping his defense that had played pretty well all day would hold up.......it didn't. But there was no guarantee that his patchwork OL would grant any better results and then everybody would've been slamming him for not taking the FG when he had the chance.

I can agree to that. The patchwork OLine probably did impact that. If we had a healthy OL, I bet he would go for it there. I am really impressed with how he's kept this team fighting and had us ready for the Steelers.

It's the only fun we get this season. I'm making the most of it!
it was the best defensive effort this year. Glad to see they showed up. Well, most of them anyway!

Pretty much! We had them on the ropes! I think we may have some fun coming up soon for our team. And, next season, I'm thinking we'll be in good shape if we draft well.

Yeah, they were playing with fire. It backfired a little, but it's a step in the right direction.

I’d like to apologize to those who blame refs all the time. I’ve faught y’all because most of the time I feel it’s ridiculous. Today it was like the refs took to Steelers by the hand like this preschool kids ropes down the field to win.

In all fairness, we get some calls too. But, the refs, well, they just suck. Incompetent is the best thing I can think of without outright calling them biased.

One side note: big, big day for John Fassel’s crew. I think you’ll see a big difference with the ST, as he gets some more to work with and as the season goes on, and hopefully he gets a more normal offseason.

big punt return, big kick return, blocked PAT. With a better team, that could have been the difference in the game.

been a looonnnng time since the Cowboys had a decided advantage in ST during a game

The only thing I can remember about this game is being furious at Jaylon. He is hands down the stupidest player I've ever seen put on a Cowboys uniform.

Yup. Jaylon needs to get his head in the game and clean up his act.

yes, I don't blame him for the illegal contact as the WR took a dive. However, the roughing was just stupid (granted, TJ Watt did the EXACT same thing and didnt' get called).

Competitive game which was nice. Barely watch pro football anymore on account of referee interventions which disrupt the flow of the game and unduly influence the outcome. Today was a prime example.

I wanted the win. They sucked me back in this week. #54 needs to be on the first plane out of here in the offseason. Refs suck. And I start GG the rest of the year. He’s big and strong and can take the shortcomings of this Oline.
