I'm not concerned with the player they pick. I'm concerned with the position they pick. They have been pretty good with 1st round picks.

This is what a smart, well run, competent organization would say and do. But we aren’t any of those things.Dear Stephen,
The only answer on this subject should be "We will consider all options right up until the minute the selection is made".
P.S. - that means from now until the pick is made, you should indicate nothing about your mindset to the media or other teams.
As it stands, the Cowboys are in position to have a top-five pick in the draft next spring, but quarterback will not be among the team’s priorities, according to Stephen Jones. The Cowboys have wanted to re-sign Dak Prescott all along and could us the franchise tag at a cost of $37.7 million. “Dak is our quarterback and we’re so fired up about him and him leading us in the future,” Jones said.

He is not better than Trevor Lawrence.TLaw is so ******** overrated. His backup is better than him. And his backup has played 2 games.
the deal they made with mike is we will pay you a ton of money, truckloads of it lol, and we buy the groceries, and you coach em up!!!!!!But Mike is definitely in charge.
Clear as mud.
You'd never tell me to my face.
I’m way more concerned with the people doing the picking.I'm not concerned with the player they pick. I'm concerned with the position they pick.
There you go, Stephen. Lay all your cards on the table early and give away all your negotiating leverage. The guy plays poker with his cars face up on the table. Even if this is what he really believes, you don’t say this.
Does anyone wonder anymore why we suck?
lol well at least they dont leak game plans lol.Well, great, let's just broadcast our draft strategy... I sometimes wonder if ANYONE in the NFL takes the Jones family seriously?
Drafting a QB would be foolish.
Way too risky.
We could end up with a Wentz or Trubisky.
This is what I've been expecting.
No argument from this segment of the peanut gallery. Can the FO leave everyone in suspense? How does us help us to telegraph our intentions?
Amateur hour with this group.
I mean to be fair if the Cowboys have a top 2 pick there is a bidding war for Lawrence or Fields (frankly I do not think they will have access to either one but weirder things have happened) which sort of means they do not need to be part of the leverage.
It is hard to believe these guys are billionaires lol. They just seem so much like jethro on the beverly hillbillys show. There is no jed or granny to reign them in.TheSkaven said:
