Game Day *** Cowboys vs Washington pregame thread ***

Im trying to get into this game today and trying to get into the thouhgt of making a run at the division ans playoffs. Its hard though because well...im just not into Andy Dalton that much nor believe in him that much. I can get into this offense as a whole because most if what we expected to be there are still there(OLine in shambles if course). And i can sorta get into our defense because LVE is back and playing good and DLaw too and some of the young guys are stepping up(Galimore, Wilson) although Diggs being out makes it hard to pull for that secondary. I guess what im trying to say is if Dak was still there or even at worst case hold the fort down knowing he could be back for the playoffs i could get into this thing. If we got into the playoffs with Dak i would at least have this feeling that we could compete and beat anybody (seriously). But with Dalton im just meh about this whole thing. He doeesnt excite me or give me any kind of confidence . He just makes me feel for who, for what about this whole situation.

I see the biggest question about today's game is how our D-Line holds up and The Teams running game.

5 weaks ago, the worst rushing team ran for 208 yards against us, then last week with LVE and Chido we restricted the Vikings (and Cook) to 125 yards.

I expect our defense to continue the improvement and reverse the embarrassing performance in DC.

I mean... we are now here as a fanbase... debating whether or not we should build a franchise around a 4TH ROUNDER QB. Once again, nothing against DAK as a person, but he is not an elite QB and anyone who thinks otherwise is a standout IDIOT and a fool!!!! Say what you want, but this is just a perfect example of how desperate and how USED we are as a fanbase. Dak is nog going to turn into a Brady story or something like that. He is an average player... and well fitting to a franchise that has been average for 20 years.

We will most likely not select a QB in the 1st round and we will keep building around this kid with a good heart and with limited talent.

IDK - I see the the O-line being key - gotta give Dalton some time or he's gonna crap the bed.
The D is gonna give up points only chance is for the O to keep up like last week.
