No one here is a robot. To be human is to error. And to ask some to stop typing their post to check and see if Micheal Irving's name has a "G" on it or not is just ***. Because we are all fans of the sport and it doesn't matter if you spell someone's name correctly as long as people know who you're talking about.

If I remember correctly belicheck used Tom Brady to attempt a pass and that pass was caught for no yards. If I'm thinking of the right game. MM, or whoever called the play, used a long developing reverse to a 5th or 6th receiver. My point is if you're going to go for it in that situation at least put the ball in your best players' hands. Elliott or Pollard run (assuming Elliott doesn't fumble), Quick slant to Coop, Lamb or Gallup. Don't do some stupid gadget play on a 4th and 9 with the receiver getting the ball 10 yards behind the LOS. He has to get 19 yards for a first down.

I agree it was the dumbest of decisions to go for it on 4th and 10, punt and make them work for it.

On the other hand, MM probably realized this game was going to be near impossible to win with the way their défense was playing and the losses on the o line.
Who in his right mind would go for it on 4th and 10, problem is he underestimated how good their défense really is.

MM made a call on the wrong part of the field, had it been successful and we lost, everyone here would be applauding big Mike for it.

Reality is it was game over when Martin went down despite the score being close.

Where are the specifics, score? time remaining?.. game situations. All important, all play a part. If he ran a dumazz fake in every single situation multiple times a game I'm sure Bellichick would eventually see the light on that and correct himself. That's what coaches do and there's none better. BB doesn't play reckless AND stupid on a regular basis. This is seriously stupid coaching happening here.
