Sure. Right now everybody looked good before getting hurt. It's a sign of desperation.

Yet another good player on the roster.
So odd that the NFL chose to loosen the restraints on IR this year due to the C, but can also place players with IR designations with the same reduced restraint and the volume of use throughout the league is substantial.

Oh, if we had Cam "whoever" back we'd be better at ....whatever......
Sign of desperation.....

dont really see how that applies, but I guess
It's the she'll do complex. Ugly women begin to look good when you're horny. With the team clouded in darkness people may start to look for the light in all the wrong places.

I understand. Just don’t think that’s the case. Cam is a free agent after this yr and knowing what we have in him is fairly important. I don’t think anyone is rueing the loss as some sort of huge impact, he’s just looked good/serviceable

Before getting hurt, he actually didn’t look too bad in the games that he played.

I posted a review of him this off-season after he signed with the Cowboys.

He was solid in 8 starts at LT last season with the Chiefs on their path to winning a Super Bowl.

He'll often have a couple of unexplainable ugly plays per game but then look good for the majority of snaps.

He has missed about 3 games almost every season of his career and has played multiple positions both of which have kept him from becoming a legit full time starter.

He has an undisclosed health issue that arises occasionally in his career, including at the start of training camp this year.
- I've heard it might be Sickle Cell but that has not been confirmed.

Erving definitely has the required physical talent to be a starter but has just never been consistent enough to keep a starting position.

I think Cam Erving would be a good one to extend, he can fill in all across the line.

I dont want him starting but as an emergency game day option his versatility and starting experience are pretty great qualities.

He played better than the two prospects and can backup all 5 spots. I would resign him as a low cost option.
