Where can we do better as Cowboy fans?

I like it.

But how?
Easy. Stop spending money, attending games and watching on TV. If you can’t do all then do what you can. And not just this year but until he steps down.

A huge hit on revenue is only means to get his attention. Currently we are sending him the wrong message with #1 in Revenue.

It would be like continuing going to the worse restaurant in town even if the food sucked. Why would you support it?

I like it.

But how?
Stop buying merchandise and just watch the games at home. I know that won’t hurt his wallet enough but if he sees a drop in sales and at least some empty seats, he notices. His ego and pride can be hurt more than his wallet.

Back in 2015, the last time this team was on a similar slide, a reporter asked him a question that really pissed him off. The question came after another embarrassing home loss.- “Jerry, are you embarrassed by this performance today?” He bristled, “Embarrassed? Have you seen this stadium?” He hates feeling embarrassed. That’s how to get his attention. He actually is a the most insecure billionaire on the planet who has to always believe he’s respected as a football man.

We can't. Unless someone on the inside does a Q&A on this site we're powerless.
One reason I think fans always say, “It will never work” is they can’t believe enough people will stop buying jerseys and tickets. But all a fan should worry about is himself.

I can’t control anyone but me. But each of us have tremendous power over this situation. But it’s just on an individual basis. I haven’t bought Cowboys merchandise in many years. I’m just one person. But it makes me feel good. I’m in charge of my sports dollar.

I go to Mavs, Stars and Rangers games because I believe there is a sincere attempt to win at each of those organizations. They have all either won a championship or been to championship games multiple times over the last 20 years while we watched the Cowboys do nothing. I’m in control my sports dollars.

The Cowboys are still my favorite because that’s my first sports team I remember loving. I’ll be damned if I let the Jones cartel hold me hostage. I refuse to surrender my fandom because of the Jones. Where I can exercise my power and still remain a fan is until there are changes at the top- as in Jerry steps aside- My sports dollar avoids buying Cowboys products.

I’m still a fan and I still want them to win. But I don’t think it happens without changes at the top. So my resistance is just part of me being a Cowboys fan- part of me expressing my loyalty to the Star on that helmet, not the rich fool running it.

I drove by a Rally House store yesterday. They had a life size Dallas Cowboys blowup mascot outside (no not Rowdy, but similar), and other merchandise for a sale.
1st I am surprised the blowup man was not deflating. Or someone had not punctured it yet.

I almost stopped to go in, only to ask if they were giving away the items for bonfires. But I just laughed, thought who in the hell wants to buy anything, and drove on by.

How can we help the organization and team each day from here on out until the end of the season?
Sign a petition to get rid of mike, Nolan, fassel, and demote Moore. Replace the above. Cut jack... Smith, Crawford, no more over paid players on roster. Hire Myers, or eberflus, or Campbell, etc. But get rid of proven losers in the coaching staff.

Good post.
I feel the same. For myself I have not bought any merchandise for years, I think it was 2, maybe 3 years ago, maybe 4. I bought a new coffee mug and another glass to drink out of.
Anything new I got, I received as a gift, for Christmas, fathers day, birthday.

But for me to not buy anything, going to games, that is my part, I can't control what someone else does. For every person like us, that refuses to do so, there will be another fan that will, until they too get tired of spending money on them.

For every fan that stops going to games, there will be a fan going in their place.
I sold my PSL's and season ticket rights in 2016, and never regretted it for a second. However, someone did buy them of course.
Now that person was from Seattle, or that is where I had to mail the tickets, as I had the actual tickets in hand. Now were they moving here, had friends and family here to go, where they buying them to resell for profit, I don't know, and did not care. All I know I was getting out at break even.

Some will always go to games, and it will take years for the attendance level to make anything happen. However, since most of the seats are season tickets, then Jerry already gets his money. Fans will still sell them if they give up on going. What it will take is people giving up on paying for their PSL's or give up on that investment, stop paying for the tickets as well. But there are complications to that, people will not do that unless other reasons are involved.

As I tell myself all the time, I am so glad I dumped the PSL's.

Fire this thread?

Touch it. Make it disappear. There is nothing to be done by fans.

Just keep it 100. And look at the complete picture, instead of grasping at one or two players a week, to blame. Trust your eyes, and not your heart. Film don't lie.

I think Jerry already got the message.

He didn't get rid of Garrett because he quit liking him. He saw the die hard fans were reaching the breaking point.
