more than any of us believed?

I wonder.

Last week was such a blur.

And to that Dallas missed a day in preparation on a 4 day week.

I am not looking for excuses but It seems that expecting our team as injured as it is and leadership in short supply..

To have expected more might be a bit indulgent on us to slam them for a game they held together with spit and glue all the way until 8 minutes to play then lost their focus and slid to a blowout?

We as fans seem to hold ourselves to unattainable lofty expectations as far as this team.

I hope that I am right and that after 10 days off they comeback and beat the Ravens and if Philly loses to Seattle Monday..

We are right back in the chase depending on what Washington does.

This is really the strangest journey with this team I have ever seen..

And I have seen or attended every game since summer 1965 at the Salesmanship Club Game in August vs the GB Packers.

That is a lot of football boys.

Seen it all.

What do you guys think?

Over to you.

Go Cowboys.

In short: Yes.

More verbose: This team couldn't get over a janitor subbing their toe. It's a mentally weak team. Of course it hurt and affected them. Regardless of practice time lost, Paul was a huge part of the daily ritual for players. It's a massive loss.

All that said who gives about the game affect. My heart goes out to his family and friends. It was an incomprehensible tragedy. One that will change some people's lives forever.

Of course it had an impact - these are people with relationships - but the game really swung when we lost our tackles.

The offense wasn't going to be able to keep pace with what the defense inevitably allows, week after week.

If our expectations were too high to expect to beat another 3-7 team, or for our coaches to not call one of the most poorly called games of the season, we should expect to not win another game this season.

You are making half the Forum very happy.

The other half don't give a damn anymore.

They just want 2020 to end soon.

A team with heart would have come out and smoked the WFT for 2 reasons:

1. to honour their coach
2. to get payback against WFT for the cheap shot to their QB

This team has 0 heart, absolutely none.

MM is a fraud and should be sent back to GB so he can stuff his face at the buffet...

Skins lost after Taylor passed. It happens and can be too much

This game was 20-16 into the 4th and we had the ball. If we came out flat and had zero energy and looked pathetic, then ok. But this poor play at the end had zero to do with preparation and the death. This team and coaches just suck.
