this is true but also he started him yesterday after he basically was beyond disrespectful to rivera an the team. This tells me had he played well and they won he would not get released.

Its always easy to release bad players

Or Rivera gave him enough rope to hang himself yesterday...

Damn that's crazy. He got screwed over with that organization though. The way Giants treated Daniel Jones and how they read him to start this season..was just night and day.

The terrible thing is I dont believe they make this move unless they expect Alex Smith to be ready. That said I think the Eagles led by Hurts can still beat em.

His knock at Ohio was his running ability. I've seen him throw for over 500yds in a game. Why such a bad pro? Some one shed some light.

rivera does not take any non sense i respect him a lot
Your respect isn't worth anything then. Everybody can and does do the easy thing. Get back when its something actually hard

Goes to show drafting QB's is hard ** in the NFL. Sure, you can point to Snyder for wanting to draft DH, but he was going to get drafted at some point in the first imo.

Guys like Rosen and Haskins, two top half 1st rounders either cut or traded while still on their ELCs in the past few years.

Can’t be. @CATCH17 says there’s no such thing as busts in the first round for quarterbacks.

Never did..

Im just not scared to draft QBs high and risk reward is worth it..

Clearly QBs on rookie deals are having more success then then the Deshaun Watson contract types.

Pay elite guys.. Let’s the tier 3 QBs who want tier 1 money take a hike.

If a QB busts it’s not a big deal like it used to be.

Haskins wasn’t taken because of talent anyways.. He was taken because of position.

He was a solid prospect that busted.. Big deal.. Try again.

Haskins needed to stay another year in college. I said that before he decided to enter the draft.
Another player getting bad advice from a greedy agent. He needed another year to read defenses and mature. But he got big headed over his 1 year success.

Now that does not mean that year would make him a better NFL QB. But it sure would have helped in his maturity and possibly reading defenses.
Things came too easy for him along the way always being the better athlete, but not the same in the NFL as we all know.

As an Ohio State fan, now since he is off the WFT, I wish him luck elsewhere. He needs to get his head on straight first though.
