Did I say Pollard? No, if I was going to throw the ball, I’d have Zeke in the backfield. He’s a great blocker and we still have the threat of a run that the defense has to honor. An empty backfield there is beyond stupid. Sorry if you can’t see that.

I am never going to be critical of the Cowboys for not running more pick plays.. for the simple reason that they seem to get called for it more often than not. I don't trust the refs to allow the Cowboys to get away with what the rest of the league does.. The times when we HAVE run picks we've been flagged.. so I understand why they don't do it more..

Why not run the ball and let them use their last timeout, eat the clock and get the TD with no time left and we have 3 timeouts in case we need them???? this is why we have a back like Zeke...

Our coaching staff has cost us more than one game this season, we would have won our division weeks ago with smart coaching.

We do it nearly every time we get into those situations since Moore took over.. Which may explain why we've been one of the worst teams in the league in goal to go situations the last two years.. even with the varsity line we've stunk it up down there..

Not to mention in those situations last week he averaged 3.5 yards per attempt.. I can almost excuse not running him today as he was gimpy.. but at least keep him in the backfield so that he can a) help pick up the free runner and b) force the defense to play honest. By going empty you gave the d-line license to pin their ears back against a patchwork o-line. A recipe for failure.

Totally. Going empty with how bad our protection had been played right into the teeth of that defense. Dalton did such a good job getting the ball out last week... this week, completely the opposite. Hs clock and timing were off all game, and KM did not adjust to help the offense out. Settled for far too many FGs (again). Our red zone TD % has to be in the bottom 1/3 of the league.
