This is the type of stuff Dalton Apologist started saying about AJ Green and other Bengals playmakers.....6 Wins 16 Lossses last 22 NFL Games starteredI thought he could have done a better job going after the ball. He was held a little bit but he never attacked the ball. I think he could have done a better job and caught it.
What do ya think?
Lambs drop on 2nd down sure as hell didn't help....
It was way in front of him. He had no shot, plus was held.I thought he could have done a better job going after the ball. He was held a little bit but he never attacked the ball. I think he could have done a better job and caught it.

Him and our new punter, bout the only bright spotsOut of all the players or coaches I could dump on, Schultz is last on my list.

Agree. I was one of the guys looking to sign anyone or even trade for a TE when Jarwin got hurt.Out of all the players or coaches I could dump on, Schultz is last on my list.
If I remember correctly the problem with those quick passes are the Wrs and TEs would or should be called for a penalty if they engage with the ball in the air. We got away with one later that could have been called. He missed a BIG block on that last drive when Cee Dee caught the ball.
You missed an exciting football game,so glad i turned this crap show OFF after our 3rd FG. by then it was obvious how it would end.once again they didn't show up.
He was definitely held, but you’re not going to see that called with Dalton out if the pocket. It was way in front of him. He had no shot, plus was held.

Totally agree. He's been ...good this year. That is why I was disappointed in his effort here. He needs to go form good to great. By effort. I know it ain't easy. But that's what separates good and great. He could have done a better job on that play but overall he was one of the pleasant surprises this season. He was a player that some thought wouldn’t even make the team and ended up taking advantage of an opportunity. He certainly exceeded expectations.

I think he CAN do it. I think he spaced out there. Got suckered by a very close holding.
Yet..somehow the defense guy located the ball....he wasn't very close either. It was way in front of him. He had no shot, plus was held.
His effort wasn’t good on the play but it was a bad throw. Dalton just threw it up for grabs.
The ball should never have been thrown in the first place.

I mean that's what ya do. You expect the receiver to go get it. Dalton just sort of stood there.....and LET the defense "go get it" instead.
If nothing else knock the sheet outta the db.
Lame.
