just throw it away and live for one more play, but typical of this team this season once in position to score they move backwards with questionable calling

I thought he could have done a better job going after the ball. He was held a little bit but he never attacked the ball. I think he could have done a better job and caught it.

What do ya think?
This is the type of stuff Dalton Apologist started saying about AJ Green and other Bengals playmakers.....6 Wins 16 Lossses last 22 NFL Games startered

It was way in front of him. He had no shot, plus was held.

He missed a BIG block on that last drive when Cee Dee caught the ball.
If I remember correctly the problem with those quick passes are the Wrs and TEs would or should be called for a penalty if they engage with the ball in the air. We got away with one later that could have been called.

He could have done a better job on that play but overall he was one of the pleasant surprises this season. He was a player that some thought wouldn’t even make the team and ended up taking advantage of an opportunity. He certainly exceeded expectations.

Totally agree. He's been ...good this year. That is why I was disappointed in his effort here. He needs to go form good to great. By effort. I know it ain't easy. But that's what separates good and great.

I think he CAN do it. I think he spaced out there. Got suckered by a very close holding.

His effort wasn’t good on the play but it was a bad throw. Dalton just threw it up for grabs.

Yet..somehow the defense guy located the ball....he wasn't very close either.

I agree he was held just a bit.

Are you good or great? That is a makeable play. The D made it instead of us.

I mean that's what ya do. You expect the receiver to go get it. Dalton just sort of stood there.....and LET the defense "go get it" instead.

If nothing else knock the sheet outta the db.

Lame.

LOL...and YOU don't say sheet about Dak's lame throws?

I know you. You are the mirror image...a Dak Apologist. Only a Dak apologist would accuse this thread of being Dalton apologist. Dak doesn't throw interceptions or make turnovers...right?

I never absolved Andy of contributing to this loss. But there you go playing that card...so easily. Pathetic little...b....never mind.

Schultz had a little chance on that play but to play DB. It was a poor under throw that was going to be very difficult to keep from being picked off.
