Which BTW, frankly it's been 3 DC choices I've really been pondering as a possibility for Cowboys as new DC:
1 Gus Bradley
2 Dan Quinn
3 George Edwards

All 4-3 scheme guys, all 3 have been top 10 DCs at some point in past 10 years; ..and I could be on board with retained Edwards " IF" he is allowed to bring in his own staff, and he
doesn't return these current coaches of Tomsula, Harris

I never would have hired Nolan, and was one of the few saying so when he was hired, but even I'll admit he didn't really get a fair chance here with circumstances beyond his control.

I can agree with this. It’s hard to make chicken soup when given chicken poop. Having said that, Mike stated when he was hired that it was players over scheme. Nolan didn’t do that until it was far too late.

Just me , but I already got the feeling that they already have their new DC in mind and in sight.
I've already noted my big 3 DCs, and that includes squeezing out other candidate of Steve Wilks, Kris Richard and Wade Phillips;

I also think the new DC they want will cater scheme around the likes of DLaw, rather than the other way around with wanting the players to cater to the scheme itself.
In other words, a scheme that allows him to be more comfortable with his hand on the ground/3 point stance instead of back pedalling and dropping into lanes and
standing up
